Incredibly cruel Devour Build for Demo | Dead by Daylight 

I used this build to get the “kill everyone by your hand in a trial” achievement. It’s rough for survivors

HBVR: We have seen this video and we do indeed see that The Demogorgon is too powerful, so we have decided to take away Michael's knife to balance it out, the update will soon be released in the PTBs

Just wanna express my appreciation for how much consistent effort is put into the descriptions to add context that’s left out by the clip. Really really helps me understand what’s going on without having to Google patch notes or something :p

Honestly people would probably play demo more if that ultra rare add on was in his power without add ons.

BHVR: We can see that Devour Hope is too powerful so we decided to take away Clowns bottles and make him a M1 killer only.

When I run devour on Demo, I like to carry the survivors to my portal/totem and mori them on top of it.

This is the build I've been running for the past few weeks, glad to see it get some recognition 🙌

I used to do this build whrn i mained demo and i did third seal instead bc its so fun watching them wandering around looking for the hooked survivor

I did some matches a while ago with just the lifeguard whistle and devour. Already an extremely strong build with just those two.

Dude, I've been using Devour Demo ever since I got him. It's godlike. Slap in STBFL and you're the scariest thing on the Block. With hex Undying/thrill of the hunt you can protect your totems and... well... Let me just say that with that build I rarely ever lose. Even DS is useless, They can't heal so they're 1shot at all times

That totem on top of the coal tower is always the first place i check at the start of the game for totems because its so common for totems to spawn there

this is my absolute favorite build it’s amazing

whenever you play that map, always always always check the building since 1 (or even 2) dull totems will always spawn there. I do hope the devs can change up totem spawns in the coming months :)

So here's my demo hex build: Devour hope Undying Thrill of the hunt And pentimento or haunted grounds, I usually use pentimento because it's great if plan A fails. I use the whistle add-on and the thorny vines add-on with this build. I think those might be the perfected version of what we are trying to accomplish here However I do agree that the iridescent add on pairs well with the build too, but generally it's only needed if you can't find the survivors

I played against a demo that had everything the same as Otz, it protected the totems 100% but in the end we managed to remove 1. The bad thing is that we all died with devourer xd, it was fun 😁.

I like how he purposely leaves in "... Portugal.", fully knowing he's depriving us of the context.

Ran a game once with the lifeguard whistle that ended in a 3-gen. Was using gaming headphones and had portals set up on the gens. All 4 survs began rushing the gens and I couldn't hear anything over the killer instinct. The add-on is amazing, but man I had a crazy headache after that match

As it is now, lifeguard whistle requires the portals to be open/used/visible in order to trigger killer instinct. I think it pairs well with detection range addon. Especially in a 3-gen situation, it can lock down an entire map regardless of distance if you kill off one or two survivors

Deym this build is savage, focused on hunting and full utilization of devour hope. Including the add-on that reveal survivors aura.

Now we wait for the "Incredibly Cruel Plague Build: Black Incense + Hysteria Synergy!"

I used this add-on once on hawkins and managed to hold five gens at the same time, the only gens that got done were the two upstairs ones that are annoying to defend.

I can always count on Otz for evil builds

Ngl, I was expecting this to me known sooner. As soon as I saw the whistle change, I EXACTLY knew a build or two around it, and admittedly it can be the most annoying thing to go against. so expecting a few Demo's to now run this lol.

Otz, i did a build with the whistle as well but instead i used ruined and my god did it work just as well

That's a Nice use of that hex.

I use this build but i change 2 things 1 i use pop instead of lethal pressure 2 i use the green thorny vines addon that makes it so the whissle has more range and takes longer to cleans the portal With that build you need to set up your portals as fast as possible on the totems so those seven seconds for LP dont do much for you or you get what otz got and get your totems broken Next step is place portals next to the 3 closest gens to the totem and activate them all protect that zone with your life. They either wil have to come in it to finish the last gen or to cleans the totem and eventualy they run out of pallets and recourses and it becomes a deadzone where you get oneshot

I main demo and personally I run Barb and Chili, Devour Hope, Undying, and Surge. Then put on 2 pink addons. (the one where you get to see everyone for 3 seconds is hands down a great info addon and it can be spammed so use it wisely) (and the second addon is a great combo with the 1st because you have no terror radius for about 15 seconds (?) ). with demo, dont feel any pressure when it gets to 2 gens (in my opinion thats when the fun starts). Enjoy the way I play. Also RPD is hands down the best map to play with this build
