Crazy Bolts of very loud and super intense, very close lightening @2:15,@5:51, @6:28,..and many many many more........ These late August lightening and thunderstorms had my neighbor pretty nervous and freaked out, he had just moved to Canada from Ireland and has only seen something this loud, close and violent only once before in his lifetime. "I feel a buzz in the air" - This indicates that a strike may be about to hit right where you are standing. If you hear that and/or your hair stands on end, your skin tingles, or you sense a metallic taste/smell, you are in immediate danger of getting struck.

I had one strike the powerline not in front of my house but a larger 66KV across the street and it was very loud, I never saw the direct hit just the blue/white flash on the fence. guy next door saw it and it arced across the phases of the lines as well.

A lot of Canada is fairly flat (except where it’s not, lol) so they have tornadoes and crazy thunderstorms!

When I was a kid and we would get a humdinger storm like this in the middle of the night, I would pull the blankets over my head and hide under the blankets....Otherwise, the lightning would be so bright, I'd see the flashes with my eyes closed. It would usually be a hot Summer night so my room windows would be open and I would be too scared to get up and close them.

I did the same thing as a kid, and being so hot during a LONG thunderstorm was an ordeal. My ears hurt from squeezing them closed so hard! 😂

I watch quite a bit of T-Storm/Electrical Storms, & a lot of times I keep coming back to this video. Besides Rad Lightning, you hear the Thunder, Really Hear it! Lots of people "muffle/quiet" the Thunder. You don't "Dim" the Lightning.. Thanks Again for a Great T-Storm!

My grandma had a house on a hill and I remember spending a few weeks at her place during the summer when I was a kid.. my bedroom had an amazing view, but storms like these were a nightmare for me ahaha You could see every lighting and feel the house shaking. I’m still scared to be outside during storms and I blame my fear on those nights, but these videos are pretty cool ahah

I remember last time I went to work with my mother it was in the start of thunderstorm and remember waiting for outside the house but inside a safe place and I saw a up close lightning ⚡️ and it was mad loud I got jumped scared 😳

No joke is right!! Perhaps it might behoove you to note HOW they're missing you (to the North, South, etc?) and go there whether it be 5 to 10 miles, or more if necess. You could be well-rewarded.

I’ve recently discovered that at night during a thunderstorm especially full of thunder lightning rain wind and hail I go out the back with my phone and put on bad romance by lady Gaga and I just sing and watch the lightning it also makes the lightning strike more

Great! Relocated against my will from NJ to Bridgeport CT. Back in Jersey used to get storms like this. Where I live now they'd steal the lightning before it hits the ground! Nothing like this. StiLL would love to experience a Midwestern storm out in the elements. Peace, be safe, if your hair stands up like mine did once hit the ground! Laughable now but I was really lucky. Scalp even tingled...

Dont know where you lived in Jersey, I'm from South Jersey, Gloucester County to be exact, storms always go around us here, I can count on my right hand the amount of storms that we see, and I mean from start to finish, it's about two or so last two or three years, squall lines form outside of Philly move in this direction and bust up before they even cross the river.

We get these sorts of storms in Australia very often. Depending on where you live the storms also bring destructive winds, and hail as much as 6 inches wide. Good work on your footage though, enjoyed it to the end.

i live in Spokane wa And we get tornados But they are weak and are not common but also not that rare And most tornadoes we get don't get reported because most Spokane residents don't know and or don't believe we get tornados And therefore don't report it at all They mistake it as a dust devil. And the most powerful tornado we ever had in Spokane was an EF2. i wish we had extremely loud thunderstorms
