@@PUFCKG In Spain (Valencian community so far) is called autumn, although climate change has brought severe thunderstorms like this one during winter as well.
I absolutely love Thunderstorms especially when the Lightning is at night this immediately gave me goose bumps all over my skin I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! Ugh so relaxing
In Arizona, the thundersand storms are caused by high altitude glass collisions, they are travelling about 300mph in the highest parts of the storm, thus causing air unstability, which causes lightning to happen due to positive and negative ions reactions to cause a spark, a spark big enough to make you shine yourself, been in arizona whilst such an event took place, best thunderstorm ever
This was quite a severe thunderstorm actually. June 2019 there were alot of small but intense thundery downpours with frequent lightning, hail, gusty winds and torrential rainfall. We caught a couple down in southwest, which I actually filmed, but this is definitely a more angry one. Great video thanks for uploading!
1:45 Eerie as hell when you hear birds making a racket during a storm in the night. Most terrifying thing I ever experienced was a storm literally right above our house years ago. Kids were only toddlers and I was at home alone and this enormous flash lit up the entire house and at the exact same time as the flash, a toy that had run down its batteries a fair while before hand suddenly started playing “London Bridge is falling down” It played instantaneously with the flash as well - absolutely scared me to death.
Urgh awful I can imagine. We had blackbirds kicking off at 2am last major storm here (middle of rural farmland) which was scarier than the storm itself it just wasn't right at all - sinister / surreal almost.
I think..........no, I Know.............I would've jumped out of my skin if that happened to me. Looks like good old Thor was having one helluva party wherever you are‼️🌩️🌩️🌩️⛈️⛈️⛈️⚡⚡⚡
Texas storms can be truly frightening because they can be so powerful. The most intense storms I've ever come across have been in that state. Search for the videos of the 5/21/17 storm in Laredo.
MrnintendoSEGAfan1 it’s nice if the lightning doesn’t hit you, it’s freighting when it strikes close and it’s really loud, and it’s scary when hit real close and it makes things explode and there’s exploding pieces of stuff flying at you.
WOW, this is one of the best (if not, THE BEST) footage on YT of a thunderstorm! Love the power of nature, the sheer cracking sound that shakes the sky along with the immensely bright flashes of lightning - second to none!! Very severe for the UK too, amazing catch ⚡️❤️
It’s controlled weather. The radio told us that we’re heading for a thunderstorm in the afternoon. I heard one clap had about 3 drops of rain and that’s it. Nothing like this.
Beautiful storm ! Thanks for sharing. Here in Western New York, USA we also have lake effect thunder and lightening with the heavy snowfall. So we get storms year round. Cool storm. Thanks for sharing. 😊
It's quite common uk has thunderstorms, infact this year alone, unusually strong thunderstorms has formed along scottland due to the unusually warm air pushing against the colder air from the north
When I was 14, we had a really bad thunderstorm during the afternoon, it must have gone on for at least 3 hours. Twice a thunderbolt came through the ceiling, through the light and missed me by feet. The second time, it rebounded and fried my stereo system. The claps of thunder along with the bolts, were like explosions.
This is a major weather event by UK standards. Very rare to have so many CGs so close together. Perhaps even a once in a lifetime storm for us Brits. We're more 'cloudy with a chance of light rain' kind of people!
Really love this video! Not everyone in America gets these storms. I'm from Seattle and our rain is typically just a grey drizzle, like in the UK. So, whenever I travel in the Plains or Tornado Alley, I'm always amazed. I mean, we get weather; they get W-E-A-T-H-E-R. Ha!
19 June storm, from my flat in St Leonards on sea, the lightning was constant and bright. Saw 4 lightning bolts. Heaviest rain for a long time, my road was like a river. Never seen lightning like that since the summer of 87. Before the great storm of 87, there was a sticky hot day, finishing with an almighty electrical storm with severe lightning
Stunning video and beautiful storm. We had one in Lowestoft in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Very loud, booming thunder which vibrated the house. Fabulous. TFS. 👍😃
Had a big storm a week or two ago where I live. It sounded like we were straight getting bombed. Holding my scared dog hoping that ww3 has come to yeet me out of existence
Many years ago I worked in Dorset, we had bad ones coming over from France! Don’t get many in NW Wales, we just get rain, like today, when everywhere else in uk, are basking in sunshine and 35degrees F.
That was a fantastic storm and was honoured to have witnessed it first hand like yourself! It had so much power behind it! Love an intense thunderstorm. This is the most powerful one I’ve seen for quite a few years!!
Wow that was some Thunderstorm. I just came across your Channel and i have subbed.I am from Ireland and we never get Thunderstorms like what you get in the UK. Well done excellent video👍😊
Nice watch that. Got to say, the audio is excellent. Sat here browsing RU-vid after watching film with headphones on through the A/V system and listening to this sounds amazing.
Great capture. Looks like there were a few thunder clouds about that night. Makes and sounds for awesome storm conditions once triggered off. Hope you weren't long without power even though there was loads in the sky lol. Expect loads of storms after next weeks heatwave coming up from Europe.
Wow that was pretty full on wasn’t it. I think southern England and midlands are meant to get storms again today 24th June. I’ve never seen a storm anything like that up here in fife. We r lucky if we get a couple o claps o thunder n a some wee bursts of lightening. Lol. Thanks for sharing
@@juels508 bites* I did that to catch little sticklers like yourself ;) Nice last name. P.s it's a joke, I've no problem with Americans. Have a good day and happy independence. :)

this storm went right over us in Brighton & didn't drop a spot of rain. it was scary when it went over it got dark as midnight and all the birds stopped singing & settled on trees & fences (like they knew what was coming) we could hear this storm in the distance when it was hammering Eastbourne. lightning hit a substation i think & knocked out power at Queens Tennis. freaky weather we get now - all that chem-spray across the sky everyday isn't helping. storms we get are violent & unnatural - even the thunder sounds strange & the seagulls are going mental in this clip.
We sometimes get those in Alabama. But most of the time it passes us. But Damn that storm is the most powerful storm. Reminds me of the one we had April 15th, and last year which was July 4th.
The Eastbourne thunderstorm as I know it as! Simply because of the amount of lightning it produced over such a short space of time! I was lucky enough to watch this from beachy head and I'm a trained storm spotter and for around 30-40 mins this produced astonishing lightning rates for uk standards! I also saw one of the closest strikes I've ever seen from inside my car,was only around 150ft away and struck one of the metal gates in the car park! The strike in your footage around 5:30 is a positive cloud to ground lightning strike and was very close indeed! Great footage of one of the best storms I've seen,at one point the lightning was up there with the 2017 Sussex storm which is by far the best I've ever seen! Thanks for sharing 👍.
Nothing here in Hertfordshire, much to my intense annoyance...we've had nothing this year except for a brief storm in May and that only lasted 10 minutes. I was convinced this storm would hit us...but nope. Just a load of rain. Same with last Monday. It was the perfect weather for thunderstorms but they seemed to fizzle out over the Channel and hit around near Dover way... Really hoping we get a good storm soon, hoping July will deliver one.
Wow, I thought we had some scary storms in Australia but this freaked me RIGHT OUT! Just before 1:30, quiet for a while, listen to the sea birds calling (are they sea birds?) then BOOM! Crikey, I would have been under the bed in a flash! Take care, you guys - peace ✌
Yeah in my area it's the same thing, if there's a storm in Shropshire it'll normally head north into Shrewsbury and not grow big enough to hit Telford. I've had three thunderstorms this year. First one on the 24th April, another one the next day and again in May while I was at school
I basically live in a valley so the storms always get pushed out to sea by the mountains. But leads to some pretty weird coloured lightning when it goes over the sea. It sorta turns a greenish tinge it’s so cool just watching it. I think it’s the light being reflected off the sea and turning it that colour.
Up in highland of Scotland we don't get bad storms but last year had a really angry one. 3 houses got struck at once and the clap of thunder with lightning was intense 😳
John Sunderland | And what does that tell you, John? It confirm that it didn’t happen. A thunderstorm does not last 36hrs. Not even in the most active regions on earth. You’d be creating new physics. And you’re not that stupid, surely?
Seriously the strike @ 1.35 sent my subwoofer walking along the floor absolutely awesome boom and footage would love to have heard that live 👍👍👍nice video great sound well recorded
