Have been running an incubate deck, love the mechanic and want to break it, I would say, Water Wings is a great addition to keep them safe, buff them, and get them flying.
Killer deck Mike, definitely will be crafting this later! Also tell if an artifact entered this turn, it will tell when you hover over / right click it for more info. You can see it at 26:11 under the +1 counters tooltip on the left side.
@@MythicMichaelBoth came into the battlefield that turn! One from Norn, one from the sunder. You can see on the left it says "Entered the battlefield this turn" for both of them.
You're my new favorite brewer man I love your decks I've been crushing fools left and right with your red black fling em deck with Khenra swiftspear in for the goblin let's gooo
34:15 you could've played Otawara instead of Eiganjo allowing your Restless Anchorage out the next turn whilst still playing your two Filched Falcons. Could've swung with the Anchorage the next turn instead of playing your ××W creature. I think your play was ultimately better. Curious though why you wanted two counters up instead of paying to flip your token and seeing with both. Love your decks!!
I'm going to try this, but do you think it makes sense to try destroy evil instead of sunder the gateway? I'm scared this doesn't have enough answer to temporary lockdown, which we will be seeing a lot of (because of boros convoke). Destroy evil is instant speed, so it can destroy the lockdown before it actually exiles all the tokens and artifacts. Another improvement might be replacing the progenitor with Chromehost Seedshark, so it doesn't get exiled by the lockdown, and I think in the long run you end up creating a lot more incubate tokens (and get a flying attacker/blocker). It's also still a phyrexian, so it gets the vigilance from awakening.
True that lockdown is a nightmare these days haha. The good news is you at least get back your non-tokens and make a new incubate with Sunder the Gateway instead of giving opponent maps. But worth a test for sure! I tried Shark but felt a little slow, although the meta is changing so fast - so worth some more testing! One day it’s all Boros Convoke, next day all control with temporary lockdown to deal with it haha
@@MythicMichaelOh I meant destroy evil, not get lost, so no map, but no artifact destroy and no token. Yeah the meta is still settling in, worth it to keep trying things. Thanks :)
@MythicMichael could you possibly make a slime against Humanity deck? It fits a low budget deck since it is a common and If anyone could bust that to oblivion it is your master mind
Both tokens had summoning sickness so no missed damage. The first token was from inquisitor (summoning sick so you know his token is also). If you hover over an incubate token there should be a banner that says “entered the battlefield this turn”.
It should be able to (performed well in top 1000 Mythic)! Also, check out my recent Turn 3 Kill deck which is budget friendly and got me from diamond 4 to Mythic this season :)
Running the deck and it’s doing very well overall. It’s particularly strong against control decks due to the incubators dodging board wipes. I never cared much for counter spells and found that you need more for stuff in play so I’m just running some generic white removal with ol enchantment exilers
Thanks for the comment! :). The Ninjitsu one from last set? Or the recent Drake one? Either way, I think this version is better in current meta, because it has more tools to shut down the top decks. Case of Filched Falcon makes a big haste flyer remember (so evasion there)!
@@MythicMichael Cool! I play the mono blue ninjiutsu one. Having big trouble against domain ramp at my local paper standard, this is probably better since it's more explosive. Gonna give it a go!
Truth!!! I’m exploiting the fact everyone is trying to counter Boros Convoke right now, and removal is bad against that deck so people are playing it less! :)
