What's quietly perhaps the most brutal aspect of this is the Incubi's final test. Beyond just slaying an Aspect Warrior (a great test of strength in battle), rather than even bringing them back to the Dark City for endless torment, they must condemn that warrior to a fate worse than the Drukhari can offer. By crushing the soulstone they're dooming that warrior, their fellow (albeit uncorrupted) Aeldari to an eternity of the worst suffering imaginable at the hands of She Who Thirsts. I have to imagine this must be a painful decision to make, even for a Drukhari, given how all the extreme brutality of Drukhari society is not for enjoyment or pleasure, but the saving of their own souls from. Beyond brutality and mercilessness, it's a test of their willpower and ability to snuff out any subtle sense of sympathy they could possible feel.

another note, it is often noted that these drukhari often actually derive their suffering by killing very prideful opponents, and they kill them in such a fashion that, it is nigh instant death, but, gives their opponent enough time to realise and anguish their defeat basically, if this were a fighting game, they'd perfect 2-0 people and feed off the salt of their opponents

I'm a Chaos guy, but I had a Drukhari phase inspired entirely by these guys and Drazhar. Love them so much.

Is it not the best unkept secret in GW that aeldari/drukhari/ynnari are finally going down the route of freeing themselves of 'she who thirsts', hence the codexes and indexes allowing for inter 'race' armies. I made a custom group of druhkari incubi called “The Queensguard.” They are dark elder, but they are the antithesis to everything that the dark elder stand for. They found a way to unbind their souls from Slaanesh, and now she cannot devour their souls. They spend their time recruiting and unbinding other drukhari in the desperate hope to save their kind from Slaanesh. They kill quickly and mercifully, whenever killing is even required at all.
