I thought you guys understood cricket better…but saying that Kohli had edged that ball is totally ridiculous. Firstly, Kohli immediately said “bat on pad” because he knew it. If he had nicked it, his body language would have been different. Secondly, the slight murmurs on the ultra-edge are extremely common when ball passes the bat so close. There was no “spike”. The 3rd umpire has to see clear spike and not murmurs. We have seen this exact case million times before so please stop crying. I really thought you guys were better than that…

I also thought that these guys understand cricket better.seems like they do not have even basic knowledge of cricket.slight murmurs are very common in many situations like windy weather,crowd gets noisy etc.happened many a times in this world cup itself.as far DRS is concerned ,controversy around it has always been related to umpires call never has it been about ball tracking.jadeja's dismissal was clear out .as soon as he hit the pad he said ball ghum Rai hai,jispe Rohit ne kaha ki isko hamesha lagta hai out hai Harsha bhogle heard it too on stump mic.then ball tracking confirmed it.

Let's get out of this 'Pakistanis always speaking against India' mindset and build tolerance for each other's opinions. The topic at hand is that DRS needs clarity and umpiring has not been that good. It has nothing to do with DRS helping any particular team. We thought that there was disturbance when the ball passed the bat and it is just an opinion. We would be saying the same even if it was not an Indian player. We also talked about Umpire not giving out to Van Der Dussen even if it was plumb. So let's not spoil cricket because of our underlying assumptions. Uneducated people talking about DRS is always funny. 1. You wouldn't need more time to predict the projection of ball, you just need the angle of turn after pitching, unless you think Jadeja is swinging the ball. On a pitch where the ball was turning around 8 degrees, that would be hardly 3-4. 2. On Kohli's nick DRS. First replay showed a huge nick but the ball way past the bat, and that ball hitting the pad. The more relevant one showed rumbling just after ball passing the bat, which is considered inconclusive. Some umpire might give that which would be highly questionable. 3. Sometimes it goes for your side and sometime it won't, it has gone a gazillion times against Kohli. It doesn't make it wrong. If you think, you didn't think the ball was hitting in line, pitching in line, and DRS shows it otherwise. That means you are wrong, it doesn't mean DRS is wrong.

Kohli pad was hit with bat that why he immediately told decock that it’s not out. Yes in first frame they wrongly showed ultraedge of bat pad hitting , after that we can see there was clear gap with bat and ball.

Great analysis, but except the DRS against Klaasen. The ball did spin towards the stump before the impact as it should ideally be for a left arm spinner bowling to a right hand batter. The first guy in the video needs to go through the replay of the ball again and check that the trajectory was exactly in the same path as created by the point of pitching and impact on the pads. Additionally, umpires call in DRS is there for a reason as the the trajectory after the impact is an imaginary thing, technology can't predict the imagination 100% correct, so umpires decision does matter. DRS is the only thing in cricket which is based on an assumption. Do you think ICC doesn't know the confusion around this!!

Over no. 20.1 Go and watch the video again there was no edge while ball was passing near the bat.. Just a fraction of seconds ago edge was due to bat pad connection... Over no. 12.5 Here as well go and watch again the pitch of the ball was more than 50% inside and also ball turned towards stump line in a fraction of seconds thats why he has given out. Watch carefully and without biasness.

Mujhe lag raha hai inhone match dekha hi nahi hai. Inhone shayad twitter pe clippings dekhi hain. Jadeja ki ball pad ke turn hui thi. Slow motion mein jab dikhaya tab clear dikh raha tha. DRS ke pehle hi I said ki hai off stump ko hit kar sakti hai aur vo usse bhi zyada spin ho ke middle aur leg ke beech mein lagi. Pitching ka call marginal tha. 51-52% ball in line pitch kar rahi thi. To bakwas to karo hi mat.

@@raftarsports Come on guys ! It’s still way better than older days when disasters were made by on field umpires. And to be clear that Klassen wicket was clearly out as the ball did pitch in line (you can’t deny this) and since the ball was turning a lot it would have hit the leg stump. And for Kohli’s decision, the murmur in SNICKO was very minute. When there is an edge the spikes are bigger. The stump mics catch all kinds of noise, even bat swing has a noise and it generates a small murmur but that doesn’t mean that there was an edge. Please do a thorough research on this. Love your work btw. Keep growing.

You guys are making a fool of yourself. You have very little understanding of the game but act as if you know it all. 1. The par score on that pitch was 240-250. India scored 320+ which was 70 runs above. Rohit Sharma attacked early on when the ball was new to gather some runs early and gain advantage as it becomes difficult to score on turning pitches once the leather of the ball becomes a bit softer and easier to grip for spinners. The later part of India's inning was to consolidate on that advantage to put a big total. It is called Strategic Planning which somehow the whole country of Pakistan doesn't know about. 2. Virat Kohli plays according to the situation, he has scored centuries in 52 balls, 60 balls, 67 balls 72 balls, 73 balls 76 balls, 78 balls and around 13 centuries 80-90 balls. He plays according to the conditions. The pitch was difficult for batting and playing strokes. South African inning showed it. 3. Kohli's DRS decision was straight forward. Don't just see the snickometer, also see the footage because there was some disturbance on the snickometer but the ball was nowhere close to the bat. When the ball went past the bat there was no noise. The End.
