That shows how different peoples tastes are. I didn't like the second one at all on her. To me it seemed like a grannys dress and it did nothing for her figure, especially her hips. 🙈 But I found the third one really classy and beautiful on her. 😊

The second dress was sooooo flattering!!! The third dress is awful. The bust is too big. The waist too low. Nope! She looks matronly and heavier.

In my mind the satin dress is more sophisticated than lace. I think she wants to look mature on her day rather than girly or granny

I think the first dress waa lovely, but the colour didn't go with her skin tone, it disappeared, almost. Second was gorgeous but the beige was again the wrong colour for her tone. I think she needs white or ivory. I liked the one she picked.

Right, because the other shows are all about the budget and then you know who is all about busting the budget (well 2 of them IMO). Quite often. A baby can be an accident, it can be a joyful decision or to fit in with other things in their life. Some who want informal quick weddings will just slip marriage in but others want to dress up and have a long held, childish, little girl dream, and photos to show grandchildren. So they want to spend big money for a huge party/dress up - and in the earlier point in their relationship, don't want to waste big money on that when a house deposit or car is more practical. If you are a rational atheist, marriage is just a formality and having children together, in most western countries gives you the same protections as a married couple. Some want to use their savings for a house deposit, before anything else. Marriage is really hardly worth the bother, except as one of the biggest, formal celebrations in life - IF you want to bother. Unless you are worrying about aristocratic titles, it is hardly worth the effort, if you view it realistically. Your question suggests you are viewing it through an historic Christian lense. Many people feel those teachings are irrelevant or want nothing to do with religions and all the scandals and hypocrisy.
