Independence Parade Trinidad 2022 - Buzz on the Streets 

This is the military parade on Independence Day 2022 in Port of Spain Trinidad when the various units of the protective services march through the streets of Port of Spain beginning at the Queen's Park Savannah. The armed forces which participate in the parade include the Police, Coastguard, Prisons Service, Army, Fire Service, Cadet Force, Air Guard, Defence Force Reserves. This parade in Trinidad is especially enjoyable as the protective services march in time to music that is set to a calypso beat. The music for the marching is played by the bands attached to each unit and so there is the Defense Force Band, the Police Band, the Prison Service Band, the Fire Service Band, the Cadet Band. It appears more people came to witness this Independence Parade maybe because it was the 60th Anniversary of Independence and so a Diamond Jubilee or maybe because it was the first parade after the two years of Covid restrictions.
