This channel is dedicated to outdoor activities in the Caribbean. It features visitor attractions in various Caribbean countries such as beaches, rivers, scenery, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, car rallies, bird watching and music events. There is also a section devoted to the street foods of Trinidad and Tobago and outdoor eating.
i discovered last year that August seems like the second carnival only jammed packed with Emancipation events, agriExpo, pan galore, etc. So I am making it a pilgrimage for as long as i can to be in Trinidad every year for carnival and for the entire month of August. Keep it coming Trinidad.
We are good when it is pan on the road. I fully enjoyed and was in that jam, dont talk about when All Stars started to play Unknown Band ( my favorite) and then of course the woman on the base
This isxactly why the govt barely gives any attention to what's wrong with our country..........WE REALLY DEMONSTRATE IN TRUE TRINY FORM .........WEL8KE IT SO......EENNNNTTTTT.😂
One should not look at the total rate and be especially wary of those who keep trumpeting about the murder rate as those persons often have hidden political agendas and so pour cold water on any event in Trinidad. As I stated in the video .steel band events attract a mature crowd and so violence in such events is extremely rare.
@@pointboy12 You're correct. There is research which shows that serious crime rates are less during the Carnival season than at other times and that Trinidad-style carnivals, which are among the largest street festivals internationally, when compared to other music/cultural festivals have least incidents of violence. Extrapolated, that means that production of, participation in and enjoyment of our culture brings out the best in us - this has many lessons for how culture needs to be the engine room of other activity in the society
@@deomaharaj404 Seriously Maharaj! So the people are supposed to barricade themselves behind locked doors and not enjoy themselves? You sound like one of those who will criticize or belittle everything that is done or enjoyed by the other half of the country. Maybe you ought to try attending one or two of these events and see how to enjoy what is part of your country's culture. Stop limiting yourself!!!
@@user-ut6lh3hv4s Yes All Stars always seems to draw the biggest crowd but this video is not a fair comparison because Despers and Renegades did not come on the street and went straight to the Savannah.
What a great job you did, I’m all the way Delaware enjoying this but you are absolutely right, steel pan just have a way of bringing people together, this brought tears to my eyes joyful tears because Neville Jules and Bully were founding fathers of all stars and all stars played in my christening 62 years ago Bully was my dad who suggested the word the bomb for jouvert with all stars
That's a man made beach. The original beach was so damaged by the construction of the LNG plant. There's alot of field roads to the back of the beach for bandits to escape those roads can bring you out LA Brea so it's not safe if you are moving in small family
@@andysammy3166 I believe you are mixing up the beaches. The LNG Plant damaged the original Clifton Hill beach in Point Fortin. This video is about Station Beach which is in La Brea.
@@andysammy3166 Best is really a matter of personal choice. Yes Vessigny has secured parking but is shallow and can be muddy at times. Many persons prefer Carat Shed beach in La Brea. I have videos on all 3 of those beaches.
Thank you....heard about the Agri Expo but was unable to check it out......good to see so many children among the crowds.....produce looked fresh & nice!!
Point boy, That was some good Exciting Pandomonium steel band from Woodford Square park, music 🎶 I Really Enjoyed it All, Thank you, Our Country T&T 🇹🇹 is Truly the King of the World in Any Steel band Music, I personally have a Small collection of Steel bands music on CD’s I keep in my Truck here at home,🇺🇸.., So when I think about Trinidad when I am Driving., I put on some Steel band music on High and Enjoy Some Good Jam of Steelband Jams that make the Bose Speakers in my Truck sound like I am Right there in front of the Music itself., Again Thk You, Stay Safe & Stay Blessed..! 😁❤️🦋🇺🇸🌈🇹🇹🎶🌎👍🏾
The stage is organized like I saw it in Brooklyn behind the museum when they have their panorama. Hats off Trinidad for making the occasion an enjoyable one for fellow Trinis.
Point Fortin pan around the next is nostalgic. That’s the way my father used to play pan as I was told . I didn’t know that but inherited the love for it anyway.
Sounds like pan in the 50's and 60's. Steelband music quality has not evolved much since. Still the bradam bradam sound of galvanize. Time to get professional musicologist to forge a more professional sound. The sound is too mechanical and primitive. Where are the Pat Bishops? Playing more classical music can help the overall sound and musical quality of pan music. Also, an annual internationl pan competition and recital should be a permanent fixture in the savannah featuring foreign and local bands. This will cause more rapid development of steelpan music and exposure to the world - with great tourism potential. Time for proper pan management an development.
@@musfazahosein7463 Unfortunately your comments are inaccurate. I invite you to look at my video that I released earlier this week. It is called Steelband more than Jump Up Music. There you will hear Steelband performing classical music for this year's Steelband Music Festival. Regarding the international pan Music competition that is planned for 2025.
If you are going to listen to pan over the TV or radio a set of good earbuds are need to pick up the beautiful sound of the whole band, without headsets pan does have some galvanized sounds to it. Nothing surpasses hearing pan live, i.e., standing or sitting where they are playing. If you have listen to pan the right way and thinks that it still has a 50's and 60's sound then pan is not for you.
