Would be nice if Strava would sort by solo and pack KOMs. It’s easy data. Then again, would be nice if Strava did 10% of the things that it could or promises…

Yeah, that is super easy data for them to filter, i have emailed them several times about adding a "Peloton KOM" or something similar, i am not a big KOM hunter myself but segments are getting "destroyed" by pelotons, one segment where i live a pack of 15 people blasted to a section with an average speed of 47km/h, the best single rider (which was also a part of the peloton) only managed 38km/h & i bet that peloton could go even further seeing as they where on a 150km group ride, so yeah, a "slow" peloton is still way faster than a single person giving it all

@@LordHenrikso Or just create another sub-category for amateurs. I think one reason some people (e.g. me) like Strava is because they can see how they measure up with the pros.

Ok, while we are on this, here in Europe-specifically Austria- all the leaderboards are stacked with Ebikes. I don't know if that is such a big deal in the states, but here it has become a bit of a joke.

Phil there’s an amazing (paved) climb up a volcano here in Costa Rica called Volcan Irazu! It’s about 30km with ~6000ft of climbing! Goes from 5000ft to 11,000ft elevation. I’d love to show you if you come down here and any other climbs you find interesting

I'm not Phil, but I'll be visiting my fiance in Costa Rica in December and I'm bringing my bike to train. Do you have a link to the segment? I might have to make the trip over there. I was thinking of doing Cerro de La Muerte, but that looks a little too risky for my taste.

USA Pro Challenge was the name of the stage race. I rode to the summit from the Twin Lake side. Hauled ass down to the car and drove to Breckenridge to see the finish after the peloton went by.

Would love to see you take on "3.5 mile user climb" in Mesa, AZ. Currently owned by Daniel Eaton with 10:29. Other than South Mountain it is the most popular climb in the Phoenix area.

I have thought for years that it would be cool if Strava posted two separate KOM and leaderboards, one for groups and one for solo rides. I live in Bend and anything the CCC rode on is untouchable for this reason.
