@@pałmyratoļľ found another photo of N7231T which was taken just 6 DAYS before the crash. The photo shows that the aircraft’s livery was almost exactly like what this animation shows. They probably changed the plane’s livery before the crash.
"On 8 February 1989, Independent Air Flight 1851, a Boeing 707 on an American charter flight from Bergamo, Italy to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, struck Pico Alto while on approach to Santa Maria Airport in the Azores for a scheduled stopover. The aircraft was destroyed, with the loss of all 144 people on board, resulting in the deadliest plane crash in Portugal's history."
@@pałmyratoļľ I'm not talking about the quality, I'm talking about the graphics of the animation they used. The current animation looks like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. If the quality in the early episodes were 1080p, then it would look much more real.
I live there. There is a tribute to this crash at the pico alto mountain (where it crashed). The rest of the plane's parts found are all there. note: this approach route was banned from now on and the airport is no longer used by international airlines due to not needing any more refuel stops
Everyday I look to the place where the plane fell, I live nearby. I've been there several times, it's something else to walk in the place where so many people died.. People on the island still remember that day... Awful tragedy. The mountain is still scarred, the trees there are smaller
Because the next episode of ACI is JAL123 which will be released by January 17. Soon after episode is released, Plane’n Boom will upload a video JAL123 - Crash Animation.
Sucks how Nat Geo doesn’t have access to ACI old episodes anymore But we get better quality at least I have been waiting for IA1851 *(Note, R.I.P to everyone who died)* *(Edit)*
Not really, the wings on the 707 model look more akin to 707-120 and -120B rather than a -320B. The wings that variant and the 320C had featured more kinks in the wings compared to an almost straight design.
american airlines flight 1 was a passenger flight going to los angeles international airport the boeing 707 123B Took of from new york international airport. It had 87 passengers and a crew of 8 occupants 95 and no survivors
another animation another aci mistake when the plane impacts with the hill u can see that the pilot cabin got stuck in a tree for a while which didn't happen
The cause of this one was a lot of factors but since I watch ACI a lot this was cause because they didn’t get the proper training in the WHOOP WHOOP PULL UP PULL UP
