Everytime I do a suspension setup like this I always end up with what I can only describe as Helicopter shocks. I tried doing what you did, but got the same result. It looks awesome and compact so I hope I can get it figured out sometime so I can make a more functional offroad vehicle.
Yeah most setups you need to add more bearings. Checkout my offroad suspension, it works best on a 6x6. My workshop is also in the description. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0vbVPOtApXo.html
Every of the 4 double wishbones you put have a suspension glitch. This is because the suspension needs to be able to move on any axis to remove the suspension glitch. there are multiple ways to do this but i suggest you look on the workshop on how to do it or join the scrap mechanic technical community (SMTC). There are lots of people there that can help with that. including myself.
The front and rear suspension are exactly the same, just do not install the 2 steering bearings. See the bearings at 5:01, do not install them. just use the pipe pieces. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KCh7AAeKNoI.html
Possibly controlling the wrong bearing, is it the upper control arm position lock bearing? Besides the control arm and steering bearings the rest should be free spinning. I wish I could see it in action, I hope you find a solution soon 😀
When I originally made it several patches ago, there was no lag or suspension glitch. I'd say take what works and what you like and make your own Beast!
Is this working in survival? This was easily the best suspension video I've seen. However, I followed the steps but my rig keeps collapsing after I remove the lift. The trigger/controller works fine but the build seems to be broken. My welds are tight btw.
