Cross references to paragraph styles would get you an easy back link to the TOC. Of course the TOCs automatically create the jump out to the content. -EG
I have titles that are sort of different fonts... like the first and third words are one font, and then the second is a different font. I cannot create a style like that and am wondering how else I could generate a table of contents with 70 pages of those kinds of titles. I wish there was a "tag" system where you could tag a text box that the TOC would put in order as they appear on each consecutive page.
You could either use Nested Styles or a GREP style to apply a character style for the oddly-styles characters. The underlying paragraph style would remain the same and get pulled into the TOC. -EG
@@CreativePro Thanks for the reply!! I will investigate the different styles soon, but I just generated the styles by copying the original title, making it invisible then adding the style to all the invisible titles... then copying the generated table of contents, then editing it a bit!! So unconventional, but its my first time and I didn't need it to have any special functionality!! Haha But I will get to learning a lot more about it soon!!
