Yes NATO does have several hypersonics. All branches of the US military are either testing or have put into service hypersonic missiles. The USAF tested their hypersonic in early 22. Supersonic weapons are strategic weapons . do you understand what is a strategic weapon. Brahmos is based on societ era Yakhont missile and similar russian missile. such weapons have no use in large scale war . if so then russia (that actually built brahmos) wouldnt be buying weapons from Iran . For a country like India it needs numbers . super expensive supersonic missiles are not a good choice. Most of the developed countries have supersonic just that they doesn't waste their resource for showoff.

While that first part is true. The second part, I don't think is. There's no restriction on NATO countries selling to non NATO countries. Lots of non NATO countries are still allied or in good terms. NATO only wants interchangeable munitions so they can all use them. That doesn't prevent them for selling systems to non NATO countries.

For countries that do no print $ or €, $5 billion of foreign exchange is a big number. This is economics 101. This is how the global economy functions.
