I dont understand why the Indian media create such a hype over a statement made by Trudue over a concert. Did he sit and watch the concert or just dropped backstage to meet the artist. He's probably been invited to the concert by the Punjabi and Khalistani audience. No video clip about it on the news here His music has appeal to only Punjabi Canadian.Did you see caucasian in the audience other than security staff. Why would ordinary Canadian be condemned to see a crappy concert and a a stadium full of ugly beards and turbans and overly dressed Punjabi costume wearing ladies. Not my idea of an evening out. Secondly its very traditional for bands and singers to introduce themselves from the city and state or province they were born and raised. Nickelback always says they are from the Town of Hanna , Alberta and not Canada in introduction. They have home town pride to the roots they belong to. So to the anchor start thinking outside the box, and spread falsehoods. Maybe cover the Khalistani non binding Canada wide referendum on Khalistan this weekend.

What's wrong with that statement??? It's more relevant to call diljeet from punjab than india. I would prefer to be called guy from delhi. I don't like you call me from Bengal or gujarat or punjab. It's more specific to be from Delhi. Trudeau was more specific for diljeet. He could have said guy from Khalistan. That would have been wrong but guy from punjab. Nothing wrong in it.
