This is clearly fear coming from this elderly woman, you can hear it in her voice. The tragedy is that there are Indians who have raised their families in Canada for decades, like this young man, a Canadian, who are now being lumped in with the screaming, threatening mobs who have no legal entitlement to stay in Canada as Permanent Residents. They were admitted as students and yet through an Indian network of contacts for jobs, and housing, many have been working full time for employers who are abusing them with lower wages than Canadians will work for. In the end it is a violation of the terms of their student visas and there should be severe fines for an employer who breaks the law aiding students this way. The students are required to bring money to support themselves as they dedicate themselves to their course of study, not working. Canada graciously opens its doors every year to thousands of visitors and Canadians are quite rightly angry that this particular group has abused the privilege. The xenophobic racial conflicts in India are not Canada's concern and neither is the fact that poor parents in India borrowed money to send their kids here. Grow up and take responsibility for your actions. All the wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth is going to get you nowhere. Canadian young people need jobs first and can't find them as they need to pay for college and university in their own country.

First of all I would like to analyse this situation with proof that my sister in law is living in Canada for more than 15 years now and Canadian people are really sober and they are minding their own business and never made issues with others and racism was 0 compared to all other countries. But we Indians must understand before cursing them on these comments that for them we are Indians . They don’t see khalistani or malayali or Tamil. For them we are Indians and when any Indian makes issues like now pro khalistanis make then it affects all communities in India including south and north.. what if a Pakistani comes to India and got Indian citizenship and some of them make issues in India, then we will also make the same statement like how they reacted. Same way they are Canadians and for them we are migrants and as long as we don’t make issues they don’t think of racism but now think from their side that they are done with issues because of other people in their own motherland ❤❤❤.
