DRDO successfully performed the preliminary vehicle testing of the Indian Light Tank, Zorawar, on September 13. During the field experiments conducted in the desert terrain, Zorawar displayed remarkable performance, efficiently. In the first phase, the tank's firing performance was extensively assessed, and it attained the requisite precision. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh praised DRDO and other related industrial partners for the successful trials of the Zorawar. He highlighted the accomplishment as a key milestone toward India's objective of self-reliance in crucial defence systems.
