Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Wednesday said that "I don't need to speak much on personal opinions...our country has Proto-Australian, N-word type class, Mongoloid class. According to the topography of our country, regional feature also differs. That what we are taught...not everyone looks alike. Some are black...some are white. It's obvious!" said Congress Lok Sabha candidate from West Bengal's Baharampur.

Its racial profiling which ignore cultural and social identities unique to the people of northeast india or south india or north india. Even current academics avoid using old racial profiling due to colonial influence on how ethnic groups are classified. Modern anthropological understanding is that race is not genetic. Even if i go by old classification how africans are related to south Indians? Lets even ignore the fact that Sam used "african" to define a racial group ignoring diversity of an entire Continent called Africa.
