Out of these 40, I only listen to 4 or 5 songs sometimes. Others are just dance numbers or party songs. We, Indians dance like crazy to those songs not because we love them, but because of the beat and loud music.

Exactly, indian taste on youtube is mostly based on the quality and type of video. Whereas on spotify, you will see people follow a song solely because of its music and the music taste there is completely opposite.

@Mission Healthy India yeah its posted as a audio on youtube and there’s no way people would hear that. on the contrary, songs like ‘seeti maar’ , ‘saiyaan ji’ and ‘hum bol rahe hain’ are this list, which makes this list a complete waste.

Honestly, the audience is very biased when it comes to these music videos (not always but it happens)...they make so many views because of the visuals and other things going on in the foreground that many times the vocals and songs itself is sidelined. There are some gems in these and a portion of audience that actually admire the music without the video. In short, there are videos that hides and sidelines the music and singing and some truly compliment them.
