Aditya Gadhvi is a playback singer and lyricist from Gujarat, India. He has rendered film songs in several Indian languages and has many chart hits. He is involved in Gujarati film scoring and has released a number of singles. His recent performance include the Gujarat Titans' anthem Aava De during the IPL 2023.
Achint Thakkar is a music composer and guitarist who has worked on various web series and films, such as Scam 1992, Rocket Boys, Maska and Monica, O My Darling. He is also known for creating his own solo album, Shalimar, in 2015 He started his musical journey with the psychedelic band Rosemary, and later collaborated with other artists such as Mikey McCleary and Dhruv Viswanath. He is a fan of retro music composers such as R.D. Burman, S.D. Burman, Shankar-Jaikishan and others 1. He is based in Mumbai and graduated from Mithibai College.
Khalasi is a song by Aditya Gadhvi and Achint, released as part of the Coke Studio Bharat: Season 1 in 2023/ The song is a fusion of Gujarati folk and rock music, with lyrics that celebrate the spirit of a seafarer who is not bound by worldly desires.
