Very capable vehicle. Middle east it's a work horse like bolero pickup in India. It's priced too steep in India. Though a very good pickup, solid rugged build quality, it's worth money what you are paying for in India. Isuzu vmax is nothing when compared to this workhorse.

My Suggestion to Even u can have tjm uvp lift ur car with bilstein shocks 2.5 with 285 bf + with wheel spacer 1.5 inches or u can even buy offset rim instant of buying this rim add arb twin on board compressor + roof rack arb more u can add arb touch panel for more electrical accessories there is lot to say bye

The sky's the limit for showing off. My setup focuses on being utilitarian without having failure points. I'll get a foamcell pro soon but beyond that everything is extra for me and not necessary for everyday use.

What does Stepney has to do with tyre rotation! Stepney is meant to be put on only for an emergency to be replaced by the original wheel when leakage is fixed.

Height of snorkel or air intake isn’t the only worry In deep water wading. Electronics of vehicle also need to be made water proof. Snorkel for water wading alone is a waste of money. Also I would like to see this vehicle in even 600 mm deep water. Let’s face it , unless intentionally doing hardcore off-roading in a river/ water stream , nobody would ever be in water that deep.

Nice information bro, but toyota itself claims hilux have water wading of 700mm means electronics should be water resistant atleast if not water proof. 😉

@@RollingPistonsIndia agreed. Toyota claims 700 mm and that is at a particular speed. Of course it would be able to do that. But getting a higher water wading with only a snorkel wouldn’t be 1.possible 2.required. But yeah very slight advantage besides higher water wading would be cleaner air for intake.

The bow created with the water can easily cover the engine and the engine will not sustain any damage. The electronics inside the engine bay will not suffer. The ones inside the cabin can suffer if the water is high even to enter cabin and reach high enough to come in contact with the cabin electronics. By then the vehicle would simply float away. The snorkel is not for the water level inside the cabin it's for the bow created by the water while the vehicle wades through.

Are these modifications allowed by the RTO? If not then the vehicle is likely to be challaned.

In India, even upgrading or downgrading a tyre size is not allowed but generally it is ok till the cops don't want to ruin your mood.

@@paramchd True. Why can’t the manufacturers modify these vehicles as per demand by a buyer. Then the vehicle can be registered with the factory fitted modifications. I think Force Gurkha has done it to some extent.
