Interesting razor looks like a great travel razor. Just ordered your Signature KenSurfs Badger Brush. It will be a nice addition to my collection. Thanks for the vids!
Looked like you were able to get everything to perform quite well, Ken! I have to admit though, you are a much braver man than I am using that brush. Your Synthetic brush looked pretty damn nice and obviously performed wonderfully. Lastly, I'd never heard of that brand before either and love the pinball videos.
Love the burn man, good shave Ken💈💈 Always a great video and comments. Glad no issues with this shave, you never know. looks like those products came off the shelf. Enjoy!
Great video ken, I also love watching you pinball videos. Maybe one day I will have a pinball machine. I can’t wait to get one of your brushes, I’m glad the you went with a black handle tuxedo. It looks great. Thanks again for the vids.
Hi Ken- Great shave and some interesting local shave products; thank you! Always interesting to get an idea of what guys in other countries have available to them. Hope your week is going well and all the best!
Great shave and video Ken. It's crazy how the weather can change from one extreme to the next but it looked really nice in Las Vegas. Glad you changed your shirt. I started going without a shirt because I get lather everywhere.
Odd, I just used Park Avenue shaving cream just now. I liked it. Wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. Thank God for India for keeping the original Shultan formulas and shaving creams going.
Great shave. Shaving with Indian wet shaving products is pretty interesting because usually we use American or British shaver gear and now we're going around the world with this one. I also had weird weather too. I had unseasonably snowy weather yesterday in my area which was completely bizarre for the month of April. To add insult to injury, that happened around spring, but we're having storms pretty soon so true spring weather is coming
Been to Vegas a few times recently and until I was walking through some of the casinos I forgot that people could smoke in buildings. I’m an early 90 gent and man did the late 90’s punch me in the face. Pretty nostalgic feeling, reminded me when I went to restaurants as a kid and they would ask smoking or non lol Thanks for the fun shave man!
These are budget shaving products for the everyday middle class shaver in India. But the middle class uses cartridge razors, Vector to Mach 3 depending on what they can afford. When it comes to DE, these cheap DE Razors are not used by people who can afford to spend a little on a good razor.
Interesting shave, Ken. I don't think I'll be buying a Park Avenue shaving brush anytime soon! I have to go one a shaving stuff buying freeze I think. I just dropped a bundle on 8 shaving brushes. I keep telling my kids, see those razors?, see those shaving brushes, see all those soaps?.....that's your inheritance! Have a safe and great week!
I did a split shave today with my Parker 22R from India on one side and a new one, a Zennister. The Zennister nearly cut my throat. Right out of the box I knew I had made a mistake. The entire razor weighed less that the handle of the Parker. The design is very reminiscent of the Bevel but the execution leaves much to be desired. As for the Parker 22R, if you have heard that it is an aggressive razor, you have heard an understatement. It didn't slice me but it certainly graded off a few layers. ;) I love Parker handles but some of the actual razors are flat out dangerous. LOL.
Thanks for sharing the video, Ken. I picked up one of these plastic razors on ebay for somewhere around $10 including seven Gillette 7 O'Clock blades. I was mainly interested in trying the blades, but the razor isn't bad. It would be a great travel razor. Cheers!
I live in India. And almost everyone I know is either scared of shaving (and just trim their beards) or they are using multi-blade cartridges. I am doing my part, evangelising safer razor shaving though.
Hey, what a funny video. It’s great you’re doing it for all of us. A real budget shave. I must admit, I wouldn’t have tried it since the razor and the brush honestly scared me off.
Nice shave with Indian products, well yes Park avenue is a very good shaving cream, it's aftershave is kind of ok, and the brush is just a floppy one. When I used to shave with Mach 3 years back , this was my only shaving gear. Nice video 👌
Great shave Ken and that park avenue is very famous in my country but that brush is a type of brush if you only want a brush and yes you can put in some aftershave inside that razor
Hi Ken. I liked this video with all these "new" products from India. Although this time I missed a good conclusion of quality, scents, properties, handiness/usability, slickness/protection, etc. 💈👍
Patrick Eruimy sorry Pat. The cream and aftershave were very good although the aftershave plastic bottle wasn’t the greatest. The razor and blade worked very very well. The brush, not so great
We now make many of our products in India. The Park Avenue shave cream is really great. I have used a sample and I am thinking of importing it. Very good. Very inexpensive. Now about Supermax Blades. The stainless are very cheap, not bad at all! But there is a blade they make called Titanium. Very smooth, Easy to shave with.
Nice shave Ken, and congrats on the bowling tournament! Speaking of supermarket shaves, I just picked up a bottle of Skin Bracer today from CVS. Good stuff. You ever gonna make it here to Florida? Maybe do a meet up?
My razor has finally had it's first taste of blood... I got a little too cocky on my second pass from nose to ear on the lip, went a little too fast or something, and sliced my upper lip pretty good. First thing I thought of was your video when you said "be careful, it's easy to cut your lip doing this" lol... You were not kidding.
@@kensurfs Yeah, it really is... I considered shaving tomorrow if it's healed up enough but I should just grow out my mustache until it's done healing. 👍
Great Video My Brother!!! I am waiting on a Gillette 'Click' Razor (at least I think it's a Click.. it comes w/2, 7 O'Clock Blades and is green) that I recently ordered on eBay and the one that you are using looks just like it. I had a coupon from eBay for $5 w/no minimum purchase that was about to expire last month and found the Gillette 'Click' for $4.25 including shipping!!! I know most 'wet shavers' will laugh BC it is such a 'cheap' razor and they would likely never buy 1 but I am a very poor man and ANY new razor that doesn't cost me a penny is really, really cool in my world. Thank You for the preview of what will be the newest addition to my humble razor collection!!!
I'll take this opportunity to recommend Super Max razor blades in case anyone didn't think they were any any good. They are really good in my opinion. And while talking about India, their Gujurati-made Pearl razors are just fab! I have an open comb and it's one of my favs.
Great video Ken, it’s good seeing different gear from around the world and big congratulations with your bowling comp mate! Love the new drag lights on the Munsters machine! It’s looking great. Have a great week mate. 👍
Hi Ken!I am from India.I occasionally watch your videos.I like them.As for the brands you have used here are quite popular in India.Park Avenue is considered to be a slightly premium brand in India.I am quite surprised that you never heard of the brand.I have always been under the false impression that Park Avenue is an International brand.
Good shave Ken . If i cut myself I just don't shave again for a week . I know you can't do this but remember that is what killed Lord carnarvon , he cut himself shaving in Egypt . Or was it the curse of King Tut ! Lol
I put my name in for ur 12,000 subscribers give away that was pretty Kool. U should do a give away of an old cartridge razor that’d be Kool. Hoping I win one day. Some of the items u have chosen for the giveaways are pretty Kool.
Hey Ken! Great video as usual. Are you wearing a wrist chain or something that is pretty loose while shaving? I could hear something clanging around like crazy. Not a huge deal when it comes down to the whole video. Was just wondering, it sounded like your dog was next to you the whole time, haha! Anyway, I'm personally looking for a awesome Sweet Whiskey or Sweet Bourbon type scent in an aftershave/cologne. But, I can't seem to find any that aren't going to wreck my bank! Also, I have heard great things about WetShavingProducts Black Amber Vanilla. Curious if you ever get your hands on a sample!
Sir, I am surprised. This razor and other items easily available in my place. this razor copy of Gillette's plastic razor. Gillette's razor little short and better material. Thanks for your video. Have a nice time
I'm keen to know the difference between this Supermax razor bundle and the green bundle. The razor is the same but we don't get those blades. They look cool.
I have the same shaver , yellow color , shorter handle , what I noticed is that it is amplified the sound of shaving due to hallow nature so if there is no more hair to cut it is going to be silent.
I have a nylon brush from Ameca France. It does an incredible lather but is also unbearably coarse. With that I need to "paint" the lather on. No swirls. How is the one you've tried ? Also coarse?
@@tomm7354 if you go straight into his youtube page.. you can watch all of his videos.. @kensurfs would i buy this indian razor and products ... more likely no.. but i do appreciate the variety of content you put in your videos, i know it takes a lot of time and dedication and we the Kensurfers (i just made that up for your fan base name lol) are thankful ! cheers Tom and Ken
Watch a few men get shaved on the street n India ! Amazing . You are taking your life in your hands but I'd have to have it done . Great shave for $1 us .
Hello, Sir, how are you, this type of plastic razors are quite easily available in INDIA and these are good as travel razors but not for daily shaving as these are poor in quality and very aggressive also if you put a little pressure than these give razor burns but anyway you can shave with any razor sir you are so expert. I'm having a number of such type of razors of different brands like Super Max, Zorik, Gillette 7o'clock plastic and Topaz but they are all similar but nice for occasional shave not for daily shaving.
Hi I am from England you don't have very many double edged razors that you can buy in the shops or the stores are the one that we have in the stores at branded in boots are the persona brand but they actually branded boots and in store called Wilkinson's they are actually called Wilkinson sword brand went well the razors that you can get for 7 replica in boots Wilkinson sword twist to open in Tesco's and you can get the plastic Wilkinson sword hydro razor that's Wilkinson sword classic in boots I have seen somewhere that you can get in Cambridge England that you can get merkur razors I'm not sure yet what store it was in my feels a little store thank you thanks the cassette master
Nice shave thanks ken see you at the big shave s west any items that you suggest I pick up well we are there your thoughts would be appreciated thanks see you soon
Hello, Ken how are you, these products are easily available in India and are considered to be of low quality but anyway shaves don't give a close shave like metal razors.
Great channel ken love the product reviews. I just started wet shaving and finished up my first tube proraso and looking for something else to try. I am looking for a cream or soap that is really slick as i have pretty course facial hair any recommendations?
@@kensurfs I think it was around 25 to 30 dollars. It has a cartridge razor, two cartridges, a tube of shaving cream, after shave, and some body spray. It also has a travel case to hold those items. I'll take a picture of it...
@@conversationalshaving9805 sorry to butt in the conversation, but $25-30 is quite the markup by the seller, the kit you have is sir, retails around 550 - 600 Indian rupees which is roughly $8-8.5
2 Points: Too bad you didn't have some copyright free Hindu music for background. I think it would have a good video even better. #2. With all the trips you take and weekend adventures; you put the "Living" in Living Life philosopy...
WolfRanger2008 I just got dinged by copyright violation for my arcade tour from January. Music was playing in the background at the pinball tournament and RU-vid caught it
Hello 👋 Kensurfs 🏄♂️ very nice 👍🏻 shaves tonight bro very nice 👍🏻 Shaving Queen 👸 bro very nice 👍🏻 😉shavings Brush very nice 👍🏻 Razor my man 👨 very nice 👍🏻 Kensurfs shaving brush Brother my friend 😊
To be honest... These are by far the worst blades I have ever used. I stretched them for 4 shaves max and that was really pushing them... Terrible quality. It is what it is though. Very cheap and disposable. I've used similar brushes which were made by Gillette and I hate them. Just too long in height and that does not cut it for me. The Gillette ones.. I've seen here in DXB. I have avoided them as I still remember my experience from at least 20 years ago... Gave it to my dad and never used it again. The park avenue, I used to use their hair gels over 20 years ago. Never tried their shaving cream or aftershaves though!
