I spent lot of time in India on business (and some vacations) and was always surprised at the traffic chaos, that somehow works. Now seeing cycling through India, brings another dimension to the traffic chaos. Wouldn't dare to do something like your trip without locals
I found Indian traffic bonkers too but once you get used to it, a sort of mystical calm envelops you, and you navigate it serenely. Mainly because it's usually much slower and more personal than you're used to.
Great video. I think am commenting here after almost 6 years maybe. Rode with Ben last year through Kerela and Ooty and the Nilgiris. Right now battling the oncoming winters/rain here in the Midlands though. Can't wait for the next video. Oh yes, the roads in Kerela are suprisingly well tarmac'ed. Enjoy the trip.
cycling in India especially in the south is absolutely hellish its like 35°c but it feels like 42 because of the absurd 89% average humidity one could easily face dehydration issues
Cycling , fitness, fun , entertainment, adventure -all packed taking a cycling tour to a whole different level. Now with the edits, cuts, timing , visuals, reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson's many shows , eh?( don't kill me if you hate that guy :)
@@jurgenimschoot1704 yeah I know but I also know they watch(ed) Top Gear where the producer also has envelopes with challenges handed out to the presenters. So I bet this wasn’t a coincidence. It’s also the first time she’s mentioned this way in another video than the podcast
Love that "rectangular" tambo Sounds like the one Nowaysis used on the intro to "Nature of Reality" ! Caveat, it might just replicate the mating call of certain snakes ! 🇮🇳 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♀️ 🐍
This is a really fascinating and entertaining journey, I am also following the individual vlogs of the team. Very well made, full of humour and informative as well. I'm in Goa, and perhaps can connect you to our local cycling community
Have you guys ever thought about having a SUBSCRIBER join the podcast or on one of your epic adventures/rides 🙋♂️ anyway, love the channel and everyone involved with content. Always look forward to new content!
@@benjaminlechappers hey man. this video has all the elements in I've learnt to admire in a cade bikepacking trip - great first episode. Where on earth did you learn that hanging off the side of a bike thing ? Always makes me lol even if it does look somewhat dangerous. 😆
