UPI is available at airports for foriegners. You can activate a wallet and fill it with rupees. It will work on all QR codes here. It can reduce a lot of your headache. You can get back your remaining money at the airport at the time of going back.
Visa policies are mutual ... look at your countries policies for Indian visitors... and also remember India is a prized destination for troublemakers as well so India is being prudent
You can’t use UPI just by getting an Indian mobile number. The procedure is different for foreigners, you can find this service at the airport if it’s available.
Foreigners can use UPI too. They just have to load an amount into their UPI wallet, and after that, they can use and pay with UPI. The government has opened helpdesks at some airports to provide assistance with using the UPI payment system.
if anytime, you need to ask anyone anything. Just ask the normal people. You know normal people? Like job guys, students, youth, girls, families, shopkeepers, anyone, except the people who are continuously chasing you to sell anything like the auto rickshaw drivers, they almost never genuinely help you(this is only for the big crowded cities). You could see the people you should ask help for. They will appear normal-good-not freaky.

Auto as we call it in India, short for autoRiksha or tok tok, best to book via ola/uber they are best for travelling within city for sort to mid distances like upto 20km, they are 100% safe, no negotiation, these are gps tracking enabled mode of transport and are vetted drivers. For longer range above 20 kms inside city best book a car to travel with AC. Never negotiate at taxi or tuk tok which are standing at side of road, thats where negotiations, haggling and scamming happens.
You can get alcohol anywhere it's very common, I have never seen anyone in my life get bitten by a dog or monkey ... Unless you go kick them, secondly The Tuktuks are quite convenient modes of transport as last minute option if you can bargain the price although it's quite reasonably priced. Sister availability of alcohol depends on which state or place you are like in gujrat alcohol is strictly forbidden like 💯 percent ban and you can't find alcohol after 8 pm in most of the places except bars and hotels and restaurants
Rishikesh is good try going more up to gangotri it's where ganga river starts from.. And yamunotri,neelkanth and kempty falls it's all near rishikesh And yeah you'll find Israeli hippies in rishikesh don't be scared to them they are harmless ex military who just come here to have fun😂😂And pads and all are available here on every shop I dunno why the lady is making so fuss bout it

India has round 3 pin plug sockets but if u have European round 2 pin plugs it will work fine. Basically they are the same with exception of the third pin

Visit udaipur, jaipur, jaiselmer and jodhpur especially udaipur. Dont miss it. All cities in same state rajasthan. Udaipur is better than jaipur. Do visit shimla manali in himachal state . And srinagar gulmarg pahalgam in kashmir state
39:59 this thing doesn't happen now. Because the companies have stopped cutting their margins from the drivers. So, now the drivers do not cancel the ride to get paid directly. You will only have to pay whatever is shown in the app. (Rides will only get cancel because of the routes or distances the drivers dont want to go, or they are somewhere far that they dont want to come. Its nothing to worry about, its absolutely easy and convenient.)
do not tip please. do it only if you liked the service provided to you. it's not complimentary. tho at restaurants, they might charge you 5-10% service charge.

India has everything to offer from SNOW IN NORTH UP. to Sea shores down south. To mountains in west .Deccan plateau . LONAVALA , MATHERAN. In east you can visit Assam ,odisha and see its rich heritage. You can Avoid West benegal ..Kolkatta as due to Bad governance they have ruined everything from Social Fabric to tourist places. Don’t take rabies vaccination in Europe because the species of animals in Indian subcontinent and Europe are different so it will not work… if any specific accident happens visit a pharmacy or hospital. India is one of the highest alcohol consumption country in the world and you will find wine/ liquor shops everywhere so don’t worry… regarding tuk tuk use apps like Uber or Ola to book any ride (cars or tuk tuk) . You can have seafoods in luxury restraunts or hotels .
They don't go south India. Kerala, hyrabad, Chennai, Bangalore these cities are south India. These are good cities. Please choose these places. Better food and better upgrade cities.

Nothing wrong with sea food. But i think different people have different digestion strengths so i recommend to have some digestive tablets etc etc. just in case. Regarding alcohol its not something thats available everywhere you can go to a bar and restaurant to have drinks But you wont find alcohol sold in openly in India.
India is huge, so concentrate which place you want to visit, so focus your trip only around that area... Every state is different in climate and ethnicity and culture, so plan your itinerary accordingly... You can plan your next and subsequent trips to another destination.
Dogs are not crazy all u need to travel where and when and with whom for example Durring days whn more people are on streets dogs are harmless but if u travell at night dogs may b little agressive but if u walk with something wierd like stick ,or something which creat noise it may irritate dogs

If you spend decent money you will get good accomodation, good restaurants, good transport but still very cheap compared to european . India is not for beginners . India has so many safe and beautiful places where a solo female can travel without any fear. Again all places have dangerous spots, just avoid going there and search thoroughly before coming here. Don't do anything in cash. We used bank because you can complain online. If any problem. There are lots of online application for the any problem like shopping,bus booking, hotel booking. Best way use UPI application no need ATM at all. That's all.
It's not what he said about sea food. If you eat in good restaurant ,you will enjoy it. but just to cut cost,if you choose just average restaurant for seafood,it might not be that good.

I wouldn’t say tuk Tuks are dogy but it might be a bit uncomfortable depending on the weather but if you wanna experience the adventure, go for it !! Some might charge u a bit higher as u r a foreigner and be clear about the location where u wanna go, get the map on ur phone n convey the location to the driver.
Sea can be avoided because many times the spices may not suit you and taste of sea creatures differ place to place, like different in japan, Thailand.. and yes you can get rabies vaccines because we know how to tackle dogs from our child hood like don’t run like strangers from them if they approach with anger you can show your domination. But for a foreigner if they want to see a natural side of India away from the concrete jungle they can take vaccines.

About use of credit cards in foreign countries is the limitation by credit cards and not a problem with POS. Check with credit card company before doing international travel. Just having VISA/Mastercard/AmEx logo doesn’t make ready to use in foreign countries
