India cannot catch up with the west. It has failed to control its population. Has high percentage of radical Muslim? Not a secular country. Democracy is slow and complex and takes atleast 50 yrs to take even small decision compare to communism which can take the same decision in a day. Democracy works better if people are enough educated. Success and failure of a country do depends on quality of leadership.
