bhargav rao loss in final was a huge disappointment,we were in a winning situation just run a ball required but we lost d match,then I was in class 5. I watched India's batting for some starting overs tendulkar was on fire.i was watching Ind Vs sa final. In a neighbor' s house, next day I watched d full highlights again ,it was really disturbing.

23:25 A fast ball is pitched far outside the leg stump, and then the batsman (Sachin) walks to that position himself in a very short time and manages to use his wrist to hit a straight six! The skill you have to have in order play like that is extraordinary. It would be easier to flick or sweep the ball or hit a leg glance or to loft it to mid-wicket, but to judge the length well enough and use your wrist to hit a fast ball for straight six and allowing enough room for your bat to swing while you are moving on the back foot is insane! This guy was something else.

There used be to be this guy Craig Evans - he like the Flower brothers used to be a perpetual hard hitting for India. He sure packed a punch with his bat in the later overs of the game and for sure was more than a useful bowler. Cricket had a great degree of exclusivity and recall back then, these days there’s too much cricket going on every where. Practically nauseating!

True another half an hour in the final and cup would have been in Tendulkars hands.Sometimes I feel he is very unlucky - so many things going against him during captaincy.I am pretty sure if India won this one and that test match where they were chasing 120 things would have been so different for Tendulkar as captain

Random fact..The boy from the crowd how took the catch of the last ball was the son of a cricketing personality, I forgot who though. They were joking about it in later on TV. Mostly a commentator's son.

Tendulkar is not a good captain he did not know to set up fielding position and decide which bowler to bowl ..no body did not get confidence for victory on his captaincy.

BCCI was notorious for arranging tournaments with minnows. Every time they get beaten by Aus or Pak , bcci ensured next series is with a weak time so India can get back to winning ways.

many trophy India lost in 1996 and 1997 due to tendulkar captaincy, and no Indian players like tendulkar as captain because tendulkar behavior is not that good and few Indian management persons behavior are not good. Because both of them are iyyers , showed their iyyer dominency.
