Thanks for categorically explaining the ranking of India's sales and exports of military related ammunitions which is less than 5%. We can export only if manufacture on our own. However in the list of top 100 companies manufacturing, we only share two spots with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and Bharat Electronics Ltd. Now to combat this shortfall and handle the war situation beyond 10 days, we need to import from other countries where Russia is the top most supplier to India. That's another reason why we had to keep our mouth shut in case of Russia-Ukraine War as well in the BRICS committee meeting recently. Naturally the more we import, our spending on military securities become really high and no wonder, we occupy the 3rd position globally with respect to military expenditure. So majority of these investment are under the India Offset Partnership Regime (IOP). Some have turned out good so far but some haven't like the JV between Reliance and Dassault is done and dusted given they were not able to complete their part of the obligation allowing Dassault to claim credit and hence Dassault called off the partnership. India has a long way to go beforehand we become self reliant in the defense sector. We've achieved some amazing milestones as a nation but still have a long way to go needless to say we might be a little slow but we are on the right track A 100% TOT transfer of Technology should boost our nation.
