India, please consider allowing for dual citizenship to select countries where Indian diaspora has gained citizenship of as a migrant. I know it’s too much to ask, but it’s a genuine ask. Consider this India, for we Indians living outside of India wants this.

One significant aspect of Indian soft culture not mentioned is food and the culinary influence. Indian food and spices flavor the culinary traditions of practically every country. It would have been interesting to hear how the culinary influences of India have blended with those of their adoptive societies. Another is writing and literature in those societies, influenced by their Indian ancestry. V.S. Naipaul certainly comes to mind, when one thinks of Trinidad. In general, Interesting to listen to the views of many young members of the Indian diaspora from several countries, some that may not have come to mind immediately. So good that they have held on to the cultures of their ancestral homeland. As the saying goes, you can take the Indian out of India but you can never take India out of the Indian. It’s a soul connection!
