Ridge Roamer looks into the new Indian eFTR adult or big kid sized electric bike. Is this a joke or might this actually be a lot of fun? Check out this new release in conjunction with Super73 ebikes! Music: www.bensound.com
Call me crazy, but anything 2WHEEL with a $4,000.oo price tag, should come with both front and rear full suspension. The other day I spoke to a gentleman who actually owns both, a Super73 RX, and a Super73 S2, and he unbiasedly confessed that although they’re both very fun, and both have the same drivetrain, your back takes a bit of a beating after a day of riding on the one without rear a suspension. Let’s keep it real here, aside from a few decals and the licensing agreement there’s absolutely nothing [Indian] about this bike! It’s a Super73 dressed up for Halloween. It almost seems as if big motorcycle brands are afraid to go head on into the EV segment, so they fail. They’re gonna offer this thing now, market it and watch it fail, when they should have started with the full suspension RX and slapped “Indian” stickers all over it.
Polaris should've committed to making a fully electric actual MOTORCYCLE. I don't know why they would squander such an opportunity to innovate with EVs being such a thing right now, and Indian could've boasted the first affordable one in its class.
This is a great product, but the price makes it BONKERS, $4k with no rear shocks, no 7 speed derailer, no dual motors, an Ariel Rider Grizzly or a Juiced Hyperscrambler 2 is around $800 less and has all of these features, I like the eFTR, but the price is bonkers.
Those prices are ridiculous, I picked up a brand new Honda Super Cub 2020 year model for $ 2,995 last year…there’s no way I would pay that much for for that e bike….
Single hub motor .... Small battery .... Only front suspension .... 28 mph .... Wait 4000$ .... Umm questionable...bet this bike doesn't handle steep hills at that top speed .... You can get a better performing e bike out of a sur Ron x clone for waaaay less
