first of all, "yuan dynasty" was the Mongolian rule of mongolia and china, with north korea, and tibet as vassal states. after the yuan dynasty collapsed, all of these countries went back to governing themselves- china had ming dynasty, and tibet had phagmodrupa dynasty and other tibetan dynasties.
