Problem with China is that the government is very suspicious of everything. Tibetan people don’t hate China, they hate the bad policies. Dalai Lama has always said that we want to be part of China but give us genuine autonomy, so we can preserve our religion, culture and way of life. Tibetan people are peaceful people and we want to coexist with our Chinese brothers and sisters. We are seeking mutual benefit where we can live peacefully and have Dalai Lama be able to return back to Lhasa, Tibet. I am Tibetan and Tibetan language is in anyway close to Chinese language both spoken and Tibetan. But there are similarities to Hindi language (Sanskrit) and nothing with Chinese script or spoken or written version.

Did you know that the title of Dalai Lama was conferred by the Qing Dynasty Emperor of China? Dalai Lama means sea in Mongolian.
