I Installed my Fox Shocks about a month ago and I love it. My crew and I ride up to Bear Mountain and hands down it feels better than the stock shocks. Anyone if you are thinking to upgrading your shocks do it don't think twice your spin is going to thank you.

Guessing you have had had a bit more seat time on these, i was more concerned about those harsh large bumps where it jars your back on the stock shocks, is this soften out with the fox shocks or still back breaking?

Hi, how did you adjust the preload of the springs and how the rebound. Did Fox give you in a manual an advice how to do that? What did you adjust in the end? Thank you and have a save ride. Regards from Austria.
I stopped the video here @ 0:54. It looks to me like the spring length as adjusted are about the same, comparing the old to the new, and that the old have a more progressively wound spring, and also that the stiffer part of the spring (the area with the more space beteen the coils) is larger. It also appears that the new shocks might be a bit longer, but how about the travel? How does the travel compare with the old shocks? I'm thinking the spring might be a bit larger diameter on the new shocks. I don't know what all that adds up to. Who can tell about how the internals work, but outwardly it sort of looks like the old springs were made more cheaply, and to get stiffness, they wound the steel that way. Was it to save steel? I don't know. I'm not a professional shock guy. Does anyone else see anything here?
Very worth the price. I’ve road an Indian scout bobber with stock shocks and it’s horrible. Road one won’t these same Fox shocks and wow. Definitely a massive difference.
Harley, Indian what's the difference. Spend $hit load of money to make it ridable, comfortable or safer. Harley sells $30K touring bikes with 2" rear suspension travel so suckers spends thousands more to upgrade.
You spent sh*t load of money?? Sucks for you sucker. 😂 anyway Harley sells a 30K bike just to be in the shop multiple times throughout owner ship. I had a Harley and will never go back. Also, people can do whatever they want with their bikes. I’ve also had co-workers with Harley’s and they upgrade the shocks. Sooo quit being a negative person and go somewhere else. That haterade is getting stronger.
