I really like the new look of the mirrors as well as the license plate relocation kit. It's funny how a few simple changes completely alter the style of this bike.
I rode the FTR and was absolutely blown away by it. There were a couple of things I would like different and would hope that Indian comes out with a new model A little sportier with a small fairing and 17" wheels plus a slightly larger fuel tank. It is a fabulous bike .
I have a 2022 ftr1200 rally. Absolutely love the bike. Cost $18,000 otd with extended warranty, little spensive but I think it's the coolest bike out right now. I look forward to upgrading it over the years. I will keep this bike forever along side my Jeep TJ
pretty much different category of bikes (although, I don't know much about the RNT)... Speed twin is all about smoother road riding... the FTR is a throw anything at it type of bike!
To chace grips, try use pressured air to help. It works same as like an oil on your engine bearings. It lubrigates and make grips to flow over handle bar. After try that one, you will never ever use any other method.
The S+S high mount pipes look and sound much better and make it look like the prototype Indian showed in pre-production. It also eliminates that pesky catalytic converter.
The contest is now closed, but you can see the winners here: rvz.la/2Wsy5dm For parts similar to those featured in this video, check out our Indian FTR 1200S Parts Collection page: rvz.la/2wQNU2U
Take off stock mudguard and replace with rear mudguard from indian genuine accessories and paint with black color, put the license on the left side off rear tire, put rear turn signal beside stop lamp, change exhaust with one pipe s&s exhaust system and take off the catalyst, install carbon tank cover on it, install handguard, don't change that factory classic mirror, and you ready to go
Right side is beautiful. Left side rear terrible. Gotta chop off that plate holder. Under seat maybe cleanest approach. Wiring mods needed for that. I’ll build a kit and let you know it turns out.
Does anyone know when they are going to announce the winner of this Indian motorcycle? I have an Aprilia Mana 850 the gas tank is under the sit ...for some strange reason, the Indian Motorcycle reminds me of my bike, which I love very much.. it would be awesome to own this machine.
Hmmm, not much for the ftr mods 😒 Do they have memory foam gel seats, riser bars, does a pro-taper steering dampener work on this, license delete or reposition, different mud guards, round displays or move display up, or crash pegs/bars go where or saddle bags would work well on this bike or different type of wind shields work on this. I’m new to cycling but I need to know if what you sell will fit on this bike.
About modding: if i remove my turnsignals and swap them out for bar-end-signals i know i will need to drill into the handlebars. But how do i seal the holes where they originally were? On a kawasaki vulcan s for example.
does anyone know where to buy the exhaust extensions, and fender/licenses plate mount/ rear light mounting hardware?basically everything added after 5:03. couldn't find it on RevZilla
Standing on the pegs on an FTR1200 is not really do-able. Not for me anyway and not with the stock exhaust. I wear size 11 shoes and if I try to stand on the pegs with the balls of my feet, my heel hits the exhaust. Really uncomfortable feeling.
@ZLA Lemmy Bullshit. Ride between the other vehicles and if you hit one, you can fold it back out. Nobody is going to constantly fold their mirrors to split lanes, it's an invitation to disaster.
Hey Lem and Revzilla team, i would like to see a video like this done with the Harley Street Rod? Not too many people have customized one and i am struggling to figure out a way to change mine. I also noticed that Lemmy really like the bike which made me get one.
@@MrJeepmarine Might depend to some extent on the state. There are different rules in different states. If you live in just the wrong state and the contest is in the wrong state, you might have to pay taxes in both. In the same way that between certain states, you might be considered a full time resident in more than one state. US tax law is not entirely straightforward.
