I don't know if you mistook the flour dough around the biriyani for clay, but it is usually made to seal the cooking pot lid, which can easily be achieved by a rubber gasket and clamp or wet stretchy dough

Alfonso and jessica the puffed rice is like popcorn when you add seasoning spices it tastes better than popcorn. Also Poha is puffed rice from which you can have dry snacks chivda or wet snacks named kande pohe. Which is a morning snack for breakfast in two states maharashtra and madhya pradesh.

8:12 this premixed masalas (spices) are the best, because it is very difficult to remember the proportions of 10, 20 masalas (spices), for all the different difficult dishes.

@varshavarshu32
@varshavarshu32 Год назад
Pure hing is actually a gum collected from a particular tree which is good for digestion and no gas is formed while having starchy food like potatoes and chickpeas and all. Now a days they are adulterating with maida and other stuffs. Vermicelli is not used by only muslims. Everyone use it to make Indian desserts with milk called payasam in south India, And upma too.

The basmati rice is a special rice, not actually a staple. Its used on special occasions for special dishes like Biriyani or Pulao. Similarly, further south, there is also a special rice called seeraga samba. - which is used in special biriyani dishes in south. This rice is very small in size. Ponni rice or Sona Masuri is the rice that south Indians eat on a daily basis as a staple. There is another thicker rice variety called kerala rice eaten in kerala. Its a staple rice in Kerala. So to sum it up there is a special occasion rice and then a staple daily rice :)

We hate to eat fresh harvested rice. That the worst thing to eat. Aged rice Taste great, take less time to cook, texture is great, it smells great, non sticky. We store rice in every house, at least for an year.

To store it you need a special powder to mix in. Mix in the powder in a particular technique. Before your any rice, wash it for 3 times.

Alfonso and jessica you need to visit india and stay in India for atleast one year to know only 10 percent of india and indian cuisine.because evry 50 to 100 kms there are different cuisines which is mind boggling I know you try to cook indian dishes at your home but unless you visit India again and again you wont be able to get authentic indian food. You will forget all your european american food which was s nothing but bread and meat without any taste or any nutrion .preparing food is a science and art too especially vegetarian food....
