Indian Navy Frigate INS TABAR transits Germany's Kiel Canal 

🇬🇧 Following a visit to the German port of Hamburg India's naval ship INS TABAR ( F44 ) transited through Kiel Canal on July 20, 2024 making her way to St. Petersburg, Russia to participate in Russia's Navy Day celebration. INS Tabar is a Talwar-class stealth frigate and forms part of the Indian Navy's Western Fleet which is based at Mumbai under the Western Naval Command. Incidentally, the 125-metre-long ship was built for the Indian Navy in Russia and was commissioned at St. Petersburg in April 2004.
🇩🇪 Am 20. Juli 2024 passierte die Fregatte TABAR der indischen Marine den Nord-Ostsee-Kanal von Brunsbüttel in Richtung Kiel. Das knapp 125 Meter lange Schiff mit der Kennung F44 war zuvor zu einem Freundschaftsbesuch in der Hansestadt Hamburg zu Gast und befand sich auf dem Weg ins russische St. Petersburg, wo die TABAR am diesjährigen Tag der Marine teilnehmen wird. Die Fregatte wurde im Jahr 2004 in Dienst gestellt und ist eine von sechs in Russland für Indien gebauten Fregatten der Talwar-Klasse.
