Indian Rock Beach, Florida | Walking Tour 

Gorgeous!! Love that it’s not crowded like Clearwater Beach, but just as beautiful and blue! IRB is a jewel. I also love that there are so many access points and the sand is so soft and fine.

I love that you can actually hear the waves and sounds at the beach. So many vids have music in the background. This makes one want to be there, smell the air and never leave! :)

Just so you know. As a 7 yr neighbor (1 mile east) of the IRB community, and snow bird visitor for 25 year prior, two topics are worth mentioning. First, the very noxious ans smelly 'red tide infects the gulf waters annually, usually drifting north from locations further south. We can smell the dead fish from the eastern side of the intercoastal waterway during these times. I suggest you read up on where and when these outbreaks typically occur before making reservations. Secondly the wonderful beach video shown here, like most ads for vacations, are showing you views of vary wide sand beaches, perhaps 100 yds between parking and water...this is because the sand has been replenished recently. Typically after hurricane season or strong storms, the beach areas may literally be 1/3 as wide, and during popular visiting times you may find very little free space, even in some instances a drop off between sand width and wade-in water for kids. It may pay you to do a little research before putting all of you eggs in one basket...or find a resort with its own pool, or have plenty of alternative fun spots to take the kids..ike Busch Gardens, the aquariums, etc. That said. I love living here and hope you enjoy your visits!

Indian rocks beach is my go to! It’s so so beautiful and not over populated. I absolutely LOVE this place. Very relaxing. I recommend staying at the happy fiddler condominiums. I stayed in the corner condo with my family. Absolutely gorgeous. Huge windows and beautiful natural lighting and TONS OF SPACE! I don’t remember the room number specifically but I know it was a corner one 😂 there’s great restaurants and shops close by which makes it better (: Edit: unit 404 was the room. We weren’t able to book it because it was already booked by others so we stayed at a different one but we love this place. 100% recommend 😌

I miss Indian Rock beach so much! I'm from Finland and I got to visit in 2017. One day I'll be back there

Beautiful Beach in Florida

Have spent the last 4 winters on this beach. You make it look spectacular! Plan on many more escapes from Ohio winters there. Lots of great restaurants on the beach all the way south to past St Pete beach.

You have the most beautiful videos. The visual clarity is awesome. I have been to Indian rocks several times and loved it..home of Kelly Slater.

Hey people I’m trying to book gulf side of Florida for summer next year . Have been to Anna Marie island before but fancied a change . Would you recommend Indian rocks . Are there similar things to do ie cinema near ish and good restaurants? Paddle boarding ? Thx

About a week ago someone came up to my wife and I on the beach and said "Hey, you're the couple in the beginning of the Indian Rocks Beach Walking Tour." Looks like he was right.

These videos are the reason gazillions of people are flocking to Florida. Don't let this rare calm and quite seen fool you. it was obviously filled early on a Sunday morning. By noon, it's a zoo, and traffic is horrendous. Nice marketing video nevertheless.

Madeira Beach is a little south of IRB. Drinking is allowed and the local strippers frequent this lovely beach.

I am a native Californian and I must admit that the Florida beaches are way more beautiful than California beaches but I must also admit that the actual BEACH CITIES are better in California than the beach cities in Florida there are a lot more events and things to do in the California beaches then Florida beaches which seems like you just park your car and walk out and not a whole lot of events and surf shops and bars along the side.
