Look at Pakistan after nearly thirty years of rule by thieves and incompetents who ruled Pakistan but had their money and children in the UK or USA; Pakistan has a leader who is educated, respected and honest. He wants to build his country he wants Pakistan which is a poor country to build its economy and to do this he is looking at education for his people, health facilities and to be be non aligned. It will take time but it would be better for both India and Pakistan to try and settle their differences and open up trade with each other....through trade will come mutual understanding and respect for each other.
