Great video, and lovely bike. I'm moving soon down to Devon and am also thinking of picking up either a Scout Bobber or a BMW 1250r as they're roughly around-ish the same price with the BMW coming in slightly more expensive but you do get more. But I'll be dammed that Bobber looks and sounds amazing, its been the bike that made me go and get my licence afew years back now. Great work and keep the content coming especially any POV rides like that.
Hey, thank for the positive feedback means a lot! Well that is a hard decision you got there on your hands because they are both great bikes. My advice would be give both bikes a really good test ride first and see what you adapt to the best and go from there . I love my bike and 100% feel I made the right choice for me. What I love is no one around my area has one so it really stands out and as for the sound, well it turns heads everywhere i go 🤣
@@RotaryandRides I will def be testing each bike and trying to get the dealerships to let me take one for a least a couple of hours each. Being a rarely seen bike is something I really like about the Indian, I've only ever seen one over this way in the south east, I've never been a speed freak and just enjoy the sensation of riding which I think the Bobber would suit me perfectly. Either way something I'm looking forward to with either of those bikes is 0 chain maintenance, yes you do need to adjust the belt on the Bobber but that is such a simpler thing to do versus having to clean, lube and tighten a chain every 400 odd miles and even still lube it if you've ridden in the wet. Can't stop and talk tho I'm currently going through all your Bobber POV vlogs haha. Take care buddy.
I'm changing bike next year, and I'm considering a Scout Bobber. How many miles are you getting from a tank? Loving the videos btw, I'm also based in the UK and regulary ride through Dorset (and Wales) over from Kent, hence the question about tank range
Hi Paul, thank you for the positive feedback! So I actually fill up every 110 miles because I like to open the bike up a lot however if your cruising about ect you can see anywhere from 120 - 140 miles. I'm hoping to get some more on board content and my 1 year ownership update video on the channel over the Xmas period for you all.
@@RotaryandRides Thats quite good range actually, more than I thought. Have you seen the Hepco & Becker side can/canister? Looks good and serves a good purpose when touring etc. I like their bag options as well. Keep the videos coming whenever you can. If I get my Scout Bobber I might see you on the road around Dorset sometime :)
@@PaulBilton Uhh don't think I have tbh I shall check them out thanks. Yes plenty more videos to come from me yet (always learning still) I will defiantly be back down Dorset area next year when the weather gets better as I love the roads and scenery ect. Hope to see you in the future :)
