@@KarlRock I'm pakistani so thier chai is perfect strong dose, my indian friend makes an amazing adrak chai perfect for winter, and then you have the English tea which a light warm drink to kick start the day :)
I live in USA and I always buy tapal danedar tea from Desi stores, I love strong Chai taste without the spices and herbal taste. So I love Pakistani tea version. Simple and classic Chai.
My favourite Pakistani tea is Tapal Danedar. I carry it back to India every time. I took a kg back to my wife's mother's village in Rajasthan, and they all enjoyed it. If you want to try it, it's commonly sold in Indian stores abroad.
Pakistan imported tea from Sri Lanka and Kenya but they process them more according to Pakistani standards in Pakistan. Pakistan recently experimented tea cultivation in KP Swat district which is successful and in future you will see Pakistani tea as well.
Karl, I don't think Pakistani chai comes anywhere close to the tea leaves found in Darjeeling and Assam. To give you a context "The beginning of chai dates back more than 5,000 years ago in the Assam region of India"
Last year the Pakistani🇵🇰 gov't kindly requested all Pakistanis🇵🇰 to stop drinking tea☕, and stop using toilet paper🧻 and anything else that is imported as Pakistan🇵🇰 is very low on foreign exchange💵💴💶💷, and they needed $1.2 billion💰 to import luxury cars🚗🚙 for their military🧟🧛 and gov't🐵🙊🙉🙈 officials 🙂
The tea in Pakistan I think used to be from Sri Lanka and used to be considered the best. But the processing happened in Pakistan. It used to be very strong, the way Pakistanis liked it. Balochi tea prep is the best.
@@FootballFanatic720bhai pure world mein akela Assam hi sabse jyada chai produce karta hai, world ka sabse bada tea production centre bhi Assam mei hai
Yes but can make it at home acc to your taste. As for instance I love chao with a little cardamom and adrak so I sometimes add it and it becomes a masla tea . Depends on the mood
My favourite Indian tea is Tata Tea Gold. I used to drink Taj Mahal Black, but I find Gold superior. Again, if you want to try it, it's found in Indian stores abroad. Dubai may be the closest location for Pakistanis to buy it.
you probably tried south Indian tea, which is usually used to make chai, but I bet you havent tasted Assam or Darjling tea, those are very premium and BEST in the entire world
@@Pratikjadhav22790 assam nameri chai you gotta try it guys But i think you dont get online if you visit assam grab many nameri chai packets as your carry bag can hold.
Maine to rs.1000 se lekar Rs.100 tak ki chai pi hai kai famous brand ke ..par mujhe sab ek jaise lagta hai ... pata nahi log kyu hazar rupiye me mahngi tea lete hai .. green tea bhi mujhe koi difference samjh nahi aaya ..European se asian tea dono ek jise laga 😂😂 lagta hai tea owner or compnay fake ad karte hai 😂😂😂
I like the simplicity of flavors in pakistani tea...not a fan of masala or ginger. Prefer chai with just doodh and sugar, max i am okay with is some elaichi( cardamom). Can't take too many ingredients in my tea. :)
@@IronMan-nu3rbwe do but not on a very large scale. We don't have weather that favor tea forming. The tea plant can grow from tropical climates to subtropical climates, but typically requires high humidity and heavy rainfall (between 150 cm and 250 cm) during the growing season.
Ive had both and both are awesome, sometimes in the evening you want a smooth chai thats where Indian tea is best and to get that sharp shock in the morning to get going you need that Pakistani chai, But I couldn't drink spice infused tea on a regular basis, but its killer for like once a week sort of thing,
Not across the border but I had tea in Kenya. Most tea Pakistan imports are not the highest quality Kenyan Tea. Kenyan tea is great to drink with milk like many of the tea plantations in Assam at lower terrains. I am from Assam, India and while working for a Delhi NCR MNC everyone told me Kenya is such a nature's spot. You are getting to work at such a beautiful country for 6 months. As I landed in Kenya I felt like I just landed back in Assam. Wahi Rhinos, Wahi baarish, wahi red soil, wahi bamboo plants. Wahi Assam type houses, wahi tea Gardens and wahi Lakes. Only skin color and language of people was different.

Go to south India you’ll get strong tea. Go to Punjab, Haryana you’ll get doodh wali chai, Go to colder places, you’ll get masala chai. We have all varieties cos it’s a large and diverse country plus we grow our own tea and varieties suitable in different regions.

One of my Indian colleague offered my some of his home made tea, I didn't know there was much difference in Indian and Pakistani tea before, but I liked the flavour of species in Indian tea.

Pakistan used to consume Indian tea originally. But due to trade issues between the two countries, it now sources tea from Kenya mainly. But main differences may come from preference for dust vs leaves, proportion of milk vs water etc, amount of tea used and the different masalas used, I suppose.
Pakistani American here. I don't really like masala chai with ginger in it. We tend to drink doodh Patti with cardamom, that's about it In Terms of spice.
@@amanwholovesdogs I like Yemeni Adeni chai. I sometimes make it with clove, and some nutmeg, and cardamom. It's the ginger that throws me off, personally. My Bengali friends make chai with clove and bay leaf. Very unique.
My aunt got me a tea powder from her neighbourhood tea plantation from Kodagu(coorg) Karnataka, though Kodagu is famous for Coffee plantation. It was very unique. All i can say is India is very diverse so does the ☕ tea😍

@@KarlRock yess!! Keep sharing cultural beauty of India.. everyone shows natural beauty of India but you show the cultural and traditional beauty and values...Love your work 🙂
I have tried both but I only like to had cardamom and cinnamon in my tea. But in India they put cloves also. In Dubai the Indian style tea is called Masala Chai but Pakistan style tea is called Disco Chai.
Dudh pati chai is indeed popular in Pakistan. But in Haryana and Punjab we are also drinking dudh pati daily - due to having cows and buffalos at home.
You have very nice Urdu/Hindi! I don't usually notice it much in your long form vlogs because it's just too good. If I met you in the street wearing salwaar kamees, The only way I would identify you as a foreigner would be your accent. Honestly you don't even need any more practice :)
You should ask the Indian Air Force Captain Abhinandan which one he likes fhe most 😂 living in France I mostly use Tata leaves and I add my own fresh spices, mostly tons of cardmom, nutmeg, pepper and cinnamom. Not a big fan of cloves in most masalas.

You should also taste tea of Bangladesh. Here at Sylhet you will find 7 coloured tea. Local people say it "SHAT RONG ER CHA" . Also you can try tea of Star Hotel and Restaurant or Nawabi Voj Restaurant
Danedar is a company which processes the Kenyan tea and packages it whereas India has actual variants of tea (Darjeeling, Assam), so you can buy Indian tea from the brands or fresh sold at rates per kilos. It's the fresh tea which is more authetic and you can either have it without spices or milk also but most Indians buy brands and like adding spices, ginger and milk.
Have you tried Lasa Lamsa ? It is Lasa tea with Lamsa cholatey flavour and aroma. 2. The best is Ooty tea, it very premium and not sure you get it outside easily. When you go there, do not forget to pack some.
There is a correction, There is different types of tea plants in India. Starting from Kerala , munnar to North east Assam . Each region has its own significance and different taste. They also have leafy and powder tea, which are strong, extra strong, light
Hm, you know. After looking at this video, i think i should start drinking tea. I have went years with just coffee but i think i will add drinking this beverage too to get it's benefits.
