Indian Weavers by Sarojini Naidu - NET SET | Indian Literature | Heena Wadhwani
Indian Weavers is a poem by Sarojini Naidu, the Nightingale of India.
This poem metaphorically represents three different stages of a human life-infancy, youth and old age(death). It is in the form of a conversation between Indian Weavers and the speaker. A simple, but philosophically rich poem, Indian Weavers depicts the mortality of life. The speaker says that no matter our life is mortal, we can still remain happy and bright, and live it to the fullest.
This is an important work, prescribed for UPHESC, BA, MA, NTA NET, SET, UPSC and other competitive exams. This will also help students preparing for GATE, CUET PG and more. This video is a part of the UPHESC English syllabus series by Heena Wadhwani.
