We drove 9 hours to see them play in Indy, and we've never seen ANY athlete being followed like this. We saw it in Indy and Atlanta. Can't wait to see what this young lady accomplishes over the years.

What would help them is a coach that doesn’t screw up rotations & subs! They need a coach that understands the back court and who actually supports her players.
I'm just happy the Fever were lucky enough to get Christie Sides to come and coach for them. She has done such a great job dealing with all the pressure and all BS from clueless people on social media.
You got some staff here in the comments trying to make it look like Sides has fans. She doesn't. She needs to go. It's clear to see she's a saboteur. As soon as CC goes on a run, she starts fretting trying to shut her down. Run Sides out of town.
There is both a man and a woman that asks questions in pre game and post game conferences that try to trap bad answers... especially the woman about voting... hoping Indiana can keep the questions about basketball and protect the Indiana Fever players more.

@@Oneanddone14 doesn’t necessarily have to translate to a couple more wins but the team would be playing loose and at a higher level without all of the obstacles that Sides presents. And because of that is the reason that the team would have more wins.
Can't have another night of missing open shots again tonight if they want to have a chance to pull out a win . And as long as the ref's allow the Ace's to have free reign to hold and grab, they will keep doing it .
Just saw the game. I hope the Fever are proud of themselves today. They almost won, Inspite of the refs really targeting CC unfairly (AB was elbowed in the face and NOTHING happened). Just need to get their confidence back. The WNBA really needs to review the calls and non-calls made over this game. The Aces are a great team, but the refs didn’t allow us to see if they could win fairly.

Are the rules between the men’s NBA and the women’s WNBA really that different concerning contact!? Games, such as the one spoken of where CC, or Kelsey have defenders, literally hanging onto them physically up and down the court with no call… What gives!? (or for that matter - is handchecking legal? ) I give props to all the women in the WNBA , because men’s NBA has gotten less physical over the last year‘s - the women’s is much more! Wishing continued success to the Indiana Fever!

I dont understand some of you people! No excuses! Everyone can have a bad game. And, my gosh! They are sooo much bigger! They all outweigh fever ladies by 20-30 lbs. I mean, they've won how many lately. They've bean every other team. No excuses! Give them a break!
Anybody, at the game Friday night. I analyzed smith's shot. She doesn't put a straight spin on the ball, instead it's a side ways spin. When it hits the rim it goes off sideways instead bouncing up.
Based on the many Fever and abundant WNBA games I watched, Sides seems inept at coaching, teaching, calling plays, and seems to regret calling time outs as if she’s banking them for the subsequent game.
Fire Sides and Dunn, hire Lisa Bluder and Lil Freddy. Sides is definitely is not a coach, just listen to her talk 💯🤡💯. The great Fever fans and the players deserve a real coach. Anyone telling you that Sides is a coach is a Brainless Sleep Walker
Bluder is too old to run a WNBA Team. Sides is doing great. Lisa Bluder has retired and knows better than trying to start over again in the WNBA. Get a clue.
I feel the same. She seems like a fantastic young lady but I have to admit I was disappointed and it took a bit of joy out of watching her. And no, it's not about endorsing Trump. It's because the Biden Harris administration basically gutted women's sex-based protections in Title IX. I just have to keep telling myself that she is only 22 and at 22 I was a huge lib.

I say pick your poison, play a complete rotation, sit all the starters as long as you can, get the bench some PT. This game is almost meaningless in the standings and playoff seedings for the Fever, perfect time to play the bench in a playoff atmosphere, plus save the starters legs. Sides had not the luxury to experiment, she had to win, UNTIL they clinched. She now has the luxury to plug and play. Team D needs to be a major focus.
Hull and Smith had a total of 5 points in this game (2pts & 3pts). That is not enough from these starters to get them to be successful in the playoffs. That is why they need a true center which will allow Boston to play as a power forward. Dantas scoring helped them stay close. Fever need improved Forward play. Boston, Mitchell and CC can only carry them so far.
@@3idraven714 Against the better teams, they will require more rebounding and paint defense. Boston is not tall enough to play a true center position. They need to find and secure a mobile tall center in the off season. Rebounding, blocks, and under the basket put backs will be their assignment. At this point in time, they cannot only lean on Clark and Mitchell every game. This will be apparent during the first round of playoffs. And the coach needs to get better at time outs and not put in the wrong players to sub out. Use Dantas and Fagbenie to sub for Smith & Hull, and may even start them instead of Smith. Hull also needs to attempt to get open more, and knock down more 3's. She hustles around the court and her defense helps them at times.
I would love to think so, but drop coverage is a standard term, isn't it? I noticed that she really stepped up her defensive moves and we know AC harps on her (appropriately) about that.
Just terrible today. Still leaving the most wide open 3 pointers ever. Still turning over the ball on the dumbest plays. Can’t shoot free throws. Every timeout they come out and turn the ball over and give up easy baskets time and again. Own worst enemy. So frustrating.
Find a way to stop their offense. Aja was just walking in the park. Aces found a way to stop your weapons and you should also give pressure to their GOTO Players.
CC will never be named among the legends like Bird and Jordan if she does not acquire that killer instinct, that "I'll stick a dagger in the heart of your hope" attitude that Bird had. CC may be one of the greats, but sorry...she will not be legendary until she changes her attitude and competitive drive. The way CC played in that recent game against the Aces, it was obvious she wasn't hungry or driven. Bird or Jordon would have never played with such low energy and such lack of confidence was NEVER in their vocabulary, not even in games they lost.
What about forcing Caitlin Clark to play through this Last game on 09/13/2024, even though she was obviously very sick with either food poisoning or a nasty flue virus?!
