Recovery practices are something that were seriously lacking in my collegiate swim team. Now I know the importance. Good to see elite swimmers embracing the power of recovery - sets a good example for us age-groupers or USMS athletes who think that always grinding is the best way to improve performance.

Watching the ISL this weekend was super exciting!!! Especially the skins races. But overall the races were close and fun to watch congratulations to Lilly for the 3/3 in the breaststrokes. I'm very excited to see you Cody Miller later in the season. With worlds being before pan ams and a little vacation putting Cody a bit behind on training compared to the rest of the field, I think you'll have your explosion later in the season. Also in my personal opinion the modern pull out is worth the risk when underwaters are so much of the race.

It’s impressive because when I do a hour long practice my coaches don’t have us doing a whole lotta long course practices so we don’t usually go over 1000 meters in total
