@@rohe1790 PlayStation is not going too far this generation. Microsoft already took about all their resources and they already leaked the sales on PlayStation first party games they don't make ass much money as people thought they rely solely on cod and GTA sales mostly third part games. PlayStation is fucked . You'll see in the coming years. It's all about game pass
I love Indiana Jones as much as anyone but let’s be honest, this game isn’t going to be a “console seller”. So in that regard it would probably be more profitable to just make this a multi-platform release.
wtf! Machine games! they are from my hometown! I gasped when I saw the cathedral (a landmark of uppsala) in the first seconds, man I have to apply for work there :')
It had third person,Your perception is to say a game is bad because of a different camera angle that may actually might not work that well with a certain game engine or physics which they wanted to base it around off ? It looks awesome,Idk why people have to moan when xbox do something,It’s actually a cancer.
James bond blood stone was great and it did justice to daniel Craig... Blood stone was a success too but EA didn't give it a sequel... If they take this blood stone route, it would be really great...
Maybe that but MachineGames has a history with that too , they are former Starbreez and they made the Cronicles of Riddick games , that had a hybrid perspective like this .
Really feels like a lot of current 'gaming journalists' are nothing but gaming enthusiasts, i.e. people who enjoy talking about and playing games, but know absolutely nothing about the industry or game development as a whole.
@@liam2 You can excuse them for being "Playstation Guys" alot of their age profile dictates that, it's what they grew up with, but if I'm a professional Football Journalist who supports Liverpool I still know the ins and outs of Manchester United. It becomes ignorance or laziness at some point.
I guarantee that they're going to release a collector's edition of some kind because everyone knows in the Indiana Jones fandom and I'm in that fandom people will buy it and I'll be one of those people for sure!
@@SaiyanHeretic Well that's what being 81 years old will get you in Harrison's case. 😄 Troy was the best and only pick to do this and he's hitting it out of the park. I went back and listened to Indy during Raiders and found next-to-no difference between Young Harrison Ford then and Troy Baker's impression.
13:37 Really? You think it doesn't say PS5 because it's an xbox event and that's why it doesn't say it? It is EXCLUSIVE to the xbox platform. Stop with that please
I got the confirmation on platforms from Bethesda directly after the stream, but yes, that scenario has happened on these types of showcases many times in the past. It's just a weird case where the game was announced before they were acquired by Microsoft. MS could have opted to honor the original contract similar to what happened with Ghostwire Tokyo or Disney could have potentially declined to renegotiate and required them to release a PS version similar to how MLB pushed Sony to publish The Show on other platforms. We know the facts now, no worries. -Bloodworth
I have recently played them with reshade and large res mods and they are amazing! Also Fate of Atlantis on Steam Deck with touch screen is ❤️ I hope they can make the new game as iconic, although I'm worried about the first person perspective.
@@MarcinSzyniszewski Yeah, the days of LucasArts making Indiana Jones games are behind us now. The company turned into what is now Lucasfilm Games under the Disney brand. I would love LucasArts to come back making Indiana Jones and Star Wars games like from 15-20 years ago, but sadly that will never happen.
@@dboygamer8184 They are remastering Tomb Raider 1-3 for modern hardware, I would say they should do the same for Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb.
@@mcmike89They should at least remake some of these older games, but sadly IJ was always less profitable for them, so I doubt it will happen. I still keep my fingers crossed for the new one, the devs (MachineGames) have a reasonably good track record behind them.
Xbox really pulling strings,This looks fantastic and so nostalgic,MachineGames are truly underrated,The Wolfenstein effects match an Indiana game perfectly,They truly pulled off First person amazingly well way better than i would of thought!
FPS is a good idea. Puzzles should be butt hard to make you "feel" like an treasure hunter. If it made you feel like an archeologist, you'd be writing a crap ton of research papers lol
its crystal clear that it will not come to PS in the near future or does this guy wants Satyan Nadella/Phill Spencer to confirmed it just for him? maybe even the CEO of PS telling him "we are not getting that game on PS" what a clown
I love you guys so I'm not going to give you a hard time did you not see the documents that happened in the court Activision Blizzard will they said that Indiana Jones is exclusive I know people are giving you a hard time about it nothing to give a hard time about if you guys and girls just didn't know about it
I responded a few times to other comments on both clips, so check there too, but yeah, I'd either missed that it came up during the trial or forgot over time. There was a ton of information coming out of those proceedings, and a lot of it was far more interesting. Something being exclusive doesn't have that much personal significance to us since we can play on anything. I was just curious since the game started before MS bought Bethesda, and even if it were on PlayStation, it's common practice to just quietly not mention that during a first-party showcase. In any case, like I said, I got the fact sheet from Bethesda minutes later with the definitive answer. So it's funny to see so many comments making a big deal out of it, as if wanting to confirm the facts means I'm in denial or something. -Bloodworth
That was a given to me, personally. Don's a bit of a wild card which no one can predict, but I'd venture to guess that it can still be a bit suprising to see a big licensed property like this hit the service day one. -Bloodworth
irritating when the reactors are watching their mobiles than actually REACTING to the video. teach that woman on the left some manners. this reaction felt a bit tastless after seeing she checked out before the gameplay even began.
I don’t think I’ve ever liked a first person game. Some times it even makes me nauseous. I get the idea of a first person puzzle perspective but I really wish combat was third person also
Bingo. I wanted 3rd person for combat. But I actually think first person will help out with graphics and maybe it's easier for them to add better shooting and whip combat. Let's see what happens
James blond blood stone is great example for such first person/3rd person games... If they take it 3rd person, it's basically uncharted with a old settings and a whip... Uncharted was modern take on indiana jones and with this being exclusive, there's a huge chance of it getting hate and called out as a clone... 😂
@THUGPUTIN oh yeah, completely, I get why they've gone this route being its what they do aswell, I just think there's enough differences in gameplay mechanics that they wouldn't feel the same, the traversal with the whip is vastly different to the uncharted free climbing style, the whip and stealth gameplay is very different to the uncharted run and gun style also, xbox is just missing a 3rd person action adventure game and this should of been it, im still excited for it though don't get me wrong
The girl couldn't even be bothered to participate without texting and checking her phone constantly. She was so "Why am I here?" Is she part of the Easy Allies staff???
Meh... i tought it would have more budget. It looks kinda cheap... Let's see how it works out. Hope it's good since the IP has been trought a bad wave. Still remember playing the Indie games for DOS in my PC, back in the '90s. They were freaking amazing.
To each their own, but this doesn't look cheap at all to me. Avowed? Now that looks lower budget. This looks very in line with the Wolfenstein games, which they were great. And just so you know, the Indy series has always had that classic/wacky feel to it like Star Wars. This game definitely captures that. I do think they need to improve on the facial expressions, but i'm sure it'll be touched up before release.
@@vagrantender don't you feel the artistic style of the game, how the faces look like, and how they move it's kinda odd? Ok, maybe "cheap" it's not the word, but it feels off to me. Obviously, when it comes to artistic direction, it's fine some like it and some don't. PS: the term "next gen" stopped being relevant when PS360 came out. Gameplay-wise it looks like many other games. Pretty lighting doesn't make something "next-gen". Almost every PS4/ONE and PS5/X game could have existed in the PS360 era.
It all depends on expectations. MS marketing and Xbox fans hyped this up as a massive impressive blockbuster experience to counter ps 1st party games. It's obviously far from that, it was never going to be that. This is the kind of visual quality you'd expect from machinegames (maybe even higher than expected). Which is fine, higher than expected AA productions but not exactly top of the cream kinda stuff. Which again it's perfectly fine. It falls short of those super high expectations, but they're not unwarranted expectations considering the narrative and Xbox fans hype.
