My hot take theory about the black materia: That's a Cloud hallucination too. At this point, he is so gone that he wants to erase all his failures, including the reality that he straight up handed Sephiroth the black materia. That's why his black materia has this crazy ability to fuse into his buster sword without a materia slot, and only he knows that this is even possible.
The red glint in Aerith's eyes is from the pilot lights on the Bronco when it is starting up. You can see these on the Bronco when the scene cuts back to Cloud after Aerith says "You promise?" It isn't because she is a Jenova/Sephiroth manipulation. She is definitely saying the things that Cloud would like to hear her say to him, but it is all a fabrication of his damaged psyche. When Nanaki says "Aerith?", his intonation is as if he senses her presence, but it isn't. He is calling out for her and mourning her passing, You know how your brain will often weave elements of real life into the dreams you have while you sleep? It's a well-documented and studied phenomenon. That's what Cloud's Aerith is doing when she incorporates Nanaki's actions by petting him.
"the action of cutting off the head of a person or animal" That gears isn't a decapitation, it was blown off, it's as much a decapitation as being blown up is.
So the obvious answer coming from Yoshi-P is basically “no”. Sure they have been in talks with Nintendo about wanting to release it on a Nintendo platform which is clearly a lie coming from them. They may not be under NDA or something, or actually made any real efforts at all. Just PR excuses to temper fans expectations. But they have seen the Switch’s massive success especially in Japan, but they still went with Xbox knowing that they don’t have any market in Japan and that Japanese games don’t sell on Xbox systems. Fans: Will FF14 come to Switch 2? Square Enix and Yoshi-P: It’s a possibility. Sometime later after the Switch 2 has released, Fans: Is FF14 still likely for Switch 2? If not, what’s the problem then? Square Enix and Yoshi-P: ??? ??? ??? Nintendo should start refusing games that developers claim a likely Nintendo version is possible to come.
I constantly see Damiani and Blood come off annoyed by Bosman and Huber, but this is the energy that's been missing from the podcast. You guys need to lean into this hard! It's always a treat when Bosman comes back
How long ar3 Hubers windows where he's walking by WATCHING his neighbors tv? First he said he watches. Now hes walking slowly by. Not buying it lol Bc in my living room. Im not walking through like a public space. Im walking up to the window and WATCHING.
Not sure why he made it sound so dramatic to support additional platforms. Made it sound like some herculean task, even to support xbox. Am I missing something? Ports can take anything from a few months to 2 years depending on the target platform, why is he talking like it requires moving heaven and earth.
Someone needs to ask him if he ever plans on changing or adding a tab targeting system similar to EVERY OTHER tab targeting MMO. It's the only thing about this game that I don't like. Cone targeting only does so much. It can't be that hard if every other MMO can do it. It has to be a design choice, and I'd like to know why.
So there are two versions of everyone EXCEPT for Max…. Why is that? That’s a bit of a plot hole imho. Cause if there is another version of everyone else why not Max as well???
@@Rose-ghostsnflowers Haven’t played these games yet myself, but after watching this, aren’t they already confirming that there will be multiverses? That snapping sound when Max is going up the hill sounds like a timeline closing, or someone going back to their own timeline for sure.
