PSU fan and alum thankful for the W, but (there's always a but) this game was too close. Credit to IU for taking advantage of our porous secondary and staying competitive. IU fans should be proud of the effort and execution. If we leave the OSU receivers open like that next week, it won't be a game. Some positives today for sure though: Nice to see PSU put together a true clock killing scoring drive with some tough running. D Line did a better job this week of getting some pressure. Ultimately, we came out with a closer than expected win over a quietly underrated IU squad that seems to play us tough more often than not. Next week is going to be the tall order that we've known was coming all year. I can only hope that we manage to keep it close enough for a chance for the upset at the end with a better defensive effort including generating some turnovers, an efficient running game, and a healthy dose of big plays because I expect plenty from OSU against this D. Good job hanging in there today and enjoy the win tonight, but tomorrow it's 0-0 and time to prep for taking on undefeated #2 at their house. Gotta love college ball! We Are!

Phylor didn't touch the ball... That was a gift which eventually resulted in a score. It was early in the game so I wouldn't say it was the difference... But.. The final was 34-27. It certainly didn't help Indiana.

Penn State is sooo young on offense and defense. It showed last week and this week. People don't realize how young they are. I think there are only 5 or 6 starters that are seniors, most are sophomores with a a few juniors sprinkled in.

KJ goes down, Freiermuth is then your best offensive player and he finished with 2 catches coming off back to back monster games.... if he’s the best TE in the country (he is) play calling needs to feature him much more especially in red zone.
