INDIE POP- Writing a song like FOSTER THE PEOPLE

So, I'm aware Foster the People have a wide range of different styles- Which I love about them. That being said, it was difficult to choose which vibe/album to write a song like. I really like their 2017 album 'Sacred Hearts Club'- Particularly the track "Static Space Lover", which you can hear in this track I make. I tried my best not to rip them off. Hope you guys enjoy!

Am I late? Loved this one. Is it cold in LA? You look dressed for Alaska. Sweet song! A pitch shifter would help your voice for those falsettos.

Haha thanks! It’s been very cold here lately. Yeah, I could’ve duplicated the track and raised the pitch but I decided to make myself struggle lol

This was dank. Have you heard the song "the dress" by Dijon? It's one of the best tracks I've heard this year. Just oozes with groove. Would be really cool to see your attempt at that style of song.
