If you want to tattoo an another Person i think you have to follow the stencil BC i think the Person would get Mad If it doesn't Look Like the stencil but If you do it in urself do whatever you want
in a business of pretentiousness/elitists/gatekeepers, you are probably the most kind tutorial artist. thank you, this made me smile and feel less discouraged about starting tattooing again. had me feeling like i’m watching a modern day tattooist Bob Ross.
I didnt look stuff up before I bought my kit! I was so clueless that RU-vid would have tattoo info. so now I make my own youtube videos on how to tattoo 🤣
@@gingerscozycrochet I just looked at you page, it looks great. I'm about to get my kit. I'll watch your RU-vid videos and subscribe hopefully it helps us both.
Bro. Let me start by saying "thank you" thank you for not only teaching me but inspiring me. I have watched alot I mean tones of youtube and you half to be one of the best. It's hard to explain but you said so many things that make complete sense.Everything you did and said was on point. Thank you again. make more videos
That depth thing just helped me so much thank you I’ve always had the problem not going deep enough and resulting in the tattoos being blotchy and faded so thank you!
There are many tattoo artists out there maybe, one better than the other. But, it's not easy to teach someone the skill and share your point of view so smooth. This shows how good of an artist / master you are. Thank you so much for this amazing video❤️🙏
I'm 13 and just got my first kit yesterday, this helped a lot, thanks! Hoping to do this professionally as an adult, so hopefully 5 years of practice before I'm 18 will help!
@@Drose1bulls-mr7diyeah! Not often since I have school and stuff but it's going pretty well, thanks for asking! (Different account cause different device, it's the original person)
Thank you so much for this video! Not a lot of people give extra tips and actually tell you what length to have the needle and what voltage to do for lining!
Not to be a creep but your voice is soothing lol but honestly I love how you expressed that it’s art and more importantly our own individual art we make the rules
Great video. Hes not pretending to make it look easy and explains what he's doing while he does it so you can easily follow along. His message at the very end is spot on. Don't sweat the small shit, keep practicing and grab yourself a gang of oranges. Well done man, top notch
Thanks for the video man. Showing real time speed and voltage helps a lot of us new guys trying to learn on our own who don't have time for an apprenticeship.
Big bro...first off, let me just say that this tutorial is straight to the point and informative 👌. You definitely have great presentation skills.... I've been in prison for about 7 years on 10 and just came home.....been doing tattoos there for years now and now that I'm out I'm trying to get used to real machines .... you know learning voltage settings for lining/shading and so on. You definitely gave me some knowledge in this video
I’ve been a professional welder for over 10 years. It’s interesting how as a tattoo artist you position and train yourself to practice the best way possible to produce the best results. As an experienced welder we do the same.
I’ve been a welder for 14 years and I thought the same thing. I actually just put the hood down and took a desk job at a tattoo shop so I can appreciate to try to become a tattoo artist. Pay cut hurt a little but I’m happier
Hey, thanks for posting this. I've been tattooed many times but it's been a couple years and I just got myself a kit to practice with. Been a sketch artist (interestingly exclusively with ball point pens) for most of my life so it seems like the transition will be fairly easy for me. The zoom toward the end was super helpful, and I'm gonna check out some your other vids.
Thank you for making these videos and teaching the process in detail. Love that you show needle length and zoomed in as you tattooed. Keep up the awesome videos bro please. I’d love to see more like how to do different types and styles of tattoos.
I "worked" at a studio for like 2 weeks when I was 15 and they let me tattoo on synthetic skin and never once told me how to stop going too deep. This video was super helpful and a nice push to my memory.
bro your videos are the best real shit🙌🏼 lmao i been struggling trying to understand and find right vids to help me improve & learn. You have the best guidance I’ve ever seen, so calm and collective. Best part you reassure us that making mistakes is what it takes to be perfect, appreciate you a lot man💯
Nice simple demo I’ve never seen it done. I’ve art in my blood and never get to use it these days and miss it, so I want to try my hand at tattooing to get motivated again. I thought I’d have to practice on a leg of ham, orange looks much simpler though 👌👊🏼😃
Thanks alot m8 ave learned alot here ave been asking loads ppl online 2 help me with my tattooing problems and they haven't help but watching this has helped alot so thanks
New sub...getn my kit in today and doin homework. Got plenty of tatts but wanna do my own. Your videos are very simple and very helpful and I thank you for that. Your awesome man keep it up
I got my own tattoo gun for my birthday 2 days ago and I just turned 17. Tattooing is what i want to do as a career and when i started to practice i noticed i was going to fast and my hand wasnt being steady as it should be. I love these videos cuz It makes me realize i did something wrong
this is really good, my dream is to be a tattoo artist and i've been working towards that and this really helped me gain some motivation, keep up the good work. :)
Thank you for your time showing this. I am buying a mast soon so im learning. i know how to draw but tattooing is a few levals up from that with all the shading and the right amount of presure for shading
Always go to a professional. I got a blowout because I was so focused on wanting a tattoo rather than caring if the person actually knows what they’re doing.
Man thanks. Ima start practicing for the next 6 months on oranges and pumpkins. Then ima practice on my leg above my knees . Then I have a few friends who said I can practice on them. I'm scared but excited and can't wait to learn the art of tattooing. What gun is that by the ways? Pen gun? Is it a good beginner to start with?
I'm in college to become a vet tech and we learned how to tattoo animals for identification... And boy our technology isnt as advanced 0w0 but thanks to you i might not mess up my next tattoos haha!
I need to know how much ink you picking up? I feel like when I was practicing I’m not picking up enough & I’m already sticking the needle back in before I finish the line
Im an apprentice, the girl teaching me told me it was because i keep the needle in the ink cup longer than needed, you only need 1-2 secs, it may be overcharged of ink, hope this helps :)
Also everytime i recharge the ink i put the needle a little on the papel towel and hit the pedal a few seconds so that drip goes there and not on the skin!
Hello I am also learning tattooing, that's a good explanation! But I have a problem, every time I am practicing tattooing, the needle seems to be overloaded with ink and when I first start, it's flooded with ink.. so I don't see anything anymore 🙈 (I do wipe off the extra ink) I don't see this when other ppl do.. Do you know what I may do wrong? I don't overcome this problem...
Yes you wipe the ink away when you can't see, unless you want some deep saturation and leave the ink on the skin so the needles do the job. But keeping in mind not to overwork the skin.
Damn bro that needle is got some hang Time on it you might hit an artery with that thing lol I wonder if that orange will ever regret getting those designs
Riding the tube just means there it's easier to not go too deep or not deep enough, you won't be able to feel the tube because it won't be pressed down, the needle is moving up and down so fast, for the artist it's like drawing in the air, there is no resistance like you would get from paper, it just glides along the skin, personally I don't like riding the tube because it breaks the surface tension of the ink inside the tube and often just gloops out so much ink that I then can't see what I'm doing anymore
Rad video. Really bro thanks for the tips. I’m getting my first rotors to do some little scratchers on myself. I think this should really help. Thank you for real.
Thank you so much for this video, it really helped me relaxe, and not want to rush in to things. Keep making this kinds of video's. Very helpful for beginning tattoo artists.
I haven't tattooed in a long time, so brushing up and watching some videos. I learnt on leather and lemons, so it is nice to see someone else using citrus fruit (not just synthetic skin) and seeing this as art not a job. Takes me back 20+ years.
