Indie music only means its independently published, I get that. But I feel like there's more to it. Indie music gives this indescribable feeling of happiness and freedom I cant get from anywhere else. Maybe its just me, but then again maybe its not. All I know is the world is big and ready to be explored with a cup of coffee at every stop 🏔☕🙂
Because you don't hear these on radios, in shops, or people playing. Indie music happens when you sit down by yourself, put on your headphones, and just enjoy for yourself, it's too personal.
What a beautiful piece of music! I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated after listening to it.This sound is so wonderful. The person who is reading this comment, I wish you great success, health, love and happiness!

Happy Monday everyone. I am doing another review/comment on another one of Alex's playlists. "Burning" by Rhineland has a great 80's beat. I feel like I am walking through a forest with leaves on the ground. I love the guitar in this song as well. Very soulful and powerful. "La La" by Kids In America featuring The Mowgli's is a nice song to chill too when you are at home studying. Who can relate to this song? Many people. The world is definitely making me a little crazy right about now. "Northern California" by Limon Limon has a nice hard beat and an awesome guitar riff that brings the listener hope but also makes you feel like you are driving on a freeway trying to get away from something that you can't really get away from. It makes you reminisce about people and places like Northern California. This song makes you want to jam, dance, and clap your hands. I love it! "Run" by Late Kids is a pretty nice rock song that makes you feel like you are at the bar having a drink and spending time with friends. I can't wait to go to the bar and have a drink while talking to friends. Come on 2021 let's go! We need to "leave it all behind" in 2020! "ShapeShifter" by The Brevet sounds like something from the late 1980's. It's a great chill song and a great song you can jam to as well. "Italy" by Wildermiss makes you reminisce about the great times you spent traveling and the great times you had in Italy. This is a great alternative rock song. "Out of my Hands" by Fox Royale sounds like the artist is singing out of a radio speaker but then the song becomes more profound as the song goes along. "Supernova" by The Souls is a very smooth hard sounding song and makes the listener think about the future and what's to come. It makes the listener think about what could have been and what was. "Peace & Love" by Beach Tiger has a nice piano start. It's a song that has a strong meaning and that we are caring peace & love. It's all about spreading that peace & love for a better world. It's almost John Lennon inspired. "All We Are Saying Is Give Peace A Chance". This is a future anthem. Great song! "Dizzy" by Arms Akimbo is about wanting to see the city and about being anxious about singing your songs wrong. It's about living the life and not letting life get to you. It's hard though when you suffer from stress, anxiety, and depression (SAD). This is a great song that people can relate too because we are all afraid about losing control and we must find a way to find that control. The song is also about your significant other being with someone else which is never a good thing. No wonder you feel "Dizzy" from that sight. "Bad" by Wilby sounds like you are on an island in the pacific. The song is a nice chill song to listen too while you are at home, working on your favourite subject. "Omg" by Fialta almost sounds like a song that The Killers would sing. a few of these songs, already, sound like The Killers songs. Anyways, the song sounds like you don't want to feel like this and that you need to wake up. People should just feel like themselves not like how society wants them to feel. It's time to rise up and feel like yourself. Don't give up the fight. "Don't Hold Back" by KidEyes has a nice beat. It's about being yourself. Another nice chill song. I love this song. Nothing will hold us down. There is no time for holding back everyone. Great meaning. "Nervous" by Au Gres is about being right at home with the person you care about the most. We all need an important person in our life that makes us feel good and feel like we can do anything. This song makes you want to slow jam and clap your hands. I love it! "Watercolors" by Coastals is a nice song that you can dance too. The song puts some step into your Monday. Nice!! It makes you think about the future and traveling to your favourite destination and future Summers. "On My Way" by Often Home is another great song that tells you that you are on your way regardless of the world trying to bring you down. We are on our way back to normal. I feel that this is what this song is about if you want to see it in a deeper meaning. Ultimately, we are on our way back to the person we love and the people that we care about. Great song. "It's OK To Be Lonely" by Mothe is similar to the times but it is also about getting back on track in trying to be social. No one told us it was ok to be lonely. It's also about finding the one you love as well and it's ok to touch. This song also has a nice 80's sound which I love. "Like Lightning" by Josie Lockhart is another chill song that you can slow jam too. "I See You In The Dark" by DD Allen is an 80's song that should be on a movie. It tells the story of a person trying to find the love of their life and that the person sees their love everywhere, even in the dark. Alot of reminiscing in this song. "Figure It Out" by RYLY is another song that sounds like an 80's song with the hard beat and the synthesizer. The song is awesome and makes me think of summer and a little of fall. This sounds like the song "King Of Wishful Thinking" by Go West with the drum beat a little bit. It sounds late 80's more as the song goes along. I think about Paula Abdul and Michael Jackson at times in this song. This song is awesome. The guitar solo is sick. The 80's are back everybody. "Big Ideas" by Casual Vice is another awesome rock song that makes you feel like you have big ideas especially after this crazy year is over and planning what you are going to do when the world normalizes again. "Clementine" by Sleep House is about the seasons changing and about moving forward with the future. The song is very hopeful and I love it. "Pop Band" by Capital Soiree is another song with an 80's feel with that rich synthesizer. This sounds a little like a Richard Marx song. I can dance to this song and jam to it as well. It feels like you could have been something but ended up being something else instead. Be somebody you want to be not somebody you don't want to be. Great song!! "Calling Me Out" by Castells is a song that is very upbeat and hopeful. This playlist is awesome. Wow! This song is about being with someone so you won't have to be alone. It's about getting to know someone that you are interested in. I love this song. "Undergrowth" by Tom Joshua has a nice calming start that is typical of Fall which makes you feel like you are walking though a forest with leaves on the ground. The song then gets heavier in the refrain but then returns to it's calming manner. I love the different levels that the song uses to display emotion. "Giving Up On Giving In" by Mike Edel is a song that has a nice guitar riff start. It is about giving up and giving in. These times force you to give up and give in but this song still gives you a reason to fight, I feel. I love the beat in this song as well. We are always giving up and giving in on things but we need to give up on giving in order to follow our dreams. Great song. Finally, "Everything Ends Up Ending" by Laureline is a great song to end the playlist on. The song has a very powerful beat and is very hopeful. It is important to know that nothing lasts forever and that the ones, we love, must be held onto. The hope is that we can't love without the person/people that we care about the most. Thank you to Alex and Beth for another great playlist. I can't wait to see what December holds. I hope everyone has a great November and has a wonderful rest of their Monday. Until then remember "Music speaks the truth in a world of lies, all you have to do is listen". Take care everyone.
Music has always been a big part of my life. Though in the past year I’ve kind of been stuck in this phase where I really don’t know what to listen to and I really couldn’t find anything that meshes with me. But through late September and October, I’ve found that your guy’s music is what I’ve been looking for. I feel like it represents who I am and who I want to be. It’s a safe space where I can go when life doesn’t go my way. So from the bottom of my heart I say thank you. You’ve impacted me so much. More than you’ll know. Have a great November to you guys and everyone who reads this! 🍂🍁❤️😄
these songs have such a GOOD vibe ... it hurts me to know that I will never be able to enjoy all the songs (of the genres I like) before I die, life is so unfair Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Thank you Alex for bring us such amazing playlists! They are so incredible that I can literally listen to it at any time, such as: - When I am stressed; - When I feel down; - When I want to celebrate and drink some beer with friends sitting at a table; - Running / Exercicing So on and so forth....
Thanks for adding 'I See You in the Dark', Alex. It's an amazing playlist. I wrote the song for everyone who parts with someone close to their heart and hopes they'll be back someday!
