Indifference (Piano Improvisation) 

I tracked my music gigs for a week on social media, reflecting a bit on each and sharing about the organizations and people I get to work with. But at the end of the week I felt an overwhelming sense of “what is it all for?” I worked worked worked but still can really afford to live in this area so rich with arts. I don’t feel alone. Practically all of the musicians around here whom I admire most of some trick to living - usually the trick is just a day job or some other source of income. Will I keep doing it? I don’t know.
