Indigenous Achuar Song. Following the Amazon from Chimborazo Summit. 

During Stage 2 of Amazon Summit to Sea, we met two local men, Abel and Arutan, at an indigenous Achuar community called Copataza.
Copataza was the end of the known road for us before taking the daunting step of canoeing downstream. This was daunting because once on the river, it'd be impossible to return. The only way out of trouble would be deeper into the wilderness.
Abel and Arutan invited us to enjoy festivities with them, and Abel (guitar) agreed to guide us for the first three days downstream.
Arutan produces their music and proudly showed us some of his pervious productions on a laptop.
The lads are looking for an opportunity to play abroad. Any Western producers who like what they see should give us a message, and we'll make the introduction. They have a very individual and special sound.
When you don't have drums, use your face!
